I actually don't consider myself to be an american. I consider myself a citizen of the Earth/Milkyway/universe. But, if you were to take a look at my birth certificated, you would indeed find that I was born in the USA. And my driver's license would show that I live in AZ. Regardless of popular opinion not all Americans are complete morrons.

First Amendment of the Constitution, also known as the beginning of the "Bill of Rights" states we are free to speak, as Americans. This man was simply expressing his freedoms, as an American citizen, and asking us to remember those that fell that day. The date of 12/7 1941 was one of crucial events that took place that forced America's hand to join the fight in the second World War. If not for this attack many things would not have happened, and if they did it would have happened differently. Knowing our history, as Americans, or even as people allows to not make the same mistakes as our past leaders. Remembering is ALL we can do for those people. And dammit if this man wants to remember, get off his Patriotic Nut Sack and let him remember. |
