Update after update they continue to screw up. they constantly ignore our feedback. They hold back on releasing weapons for months only to release them terribly unbalanced. it took them over a year to release 5 weapons. 5 ******* weapons.
sure they might be working on other stuff but damn everything they do is messed up.
Only reason people play this game is they still have hope it might one day be worth all this stupid trial and error. But every update shows that they can't make this game what they want it to be.
Hell, if yall had a foxfour for every team this game would be golden by now. his team and the art team are the only ones that listen.

Dude's right, not enough weapons. Scramblers are getting old, EVERYONE has at least prof 3 on AR's. as of right now whether or not you win fights is based solely on latency or having a modded controller. BORING |

OP, for someone arguing for such a severe outcome, you're pretty ignorant of the processes. The individuals who all helped create the new weapons haven't only been working on weapons. And the prioritisation of what gets developed first is decided by their superiors.
And if balance is your real gripe then that is easy to adjust. At any time. Preferably based on real data.
Instead your rant just makes you become ignored. Your over-reaction makes whatever point you may have get lost in all the bile. Dial it back to respectful and your opinion can then be weighed against others'.

Your anger is valid, but misplaced.
Like AI2 pointed out above... Team Kong is the team that is responsible for pretty much everything that occurs in battle. Weapon mechanics, Suits and movement speeds, controls & controller layouts, etc.
That's why content is coming out at a snail's pace. Because there is too much stuff to do and all of it is being lumped on like four dudes.
What you /should/ be calling for instead is the creation of a balance team who can relieve Team Kong of that particular burden and spend their time playing and communicating with the community so that they know what is "broken" and both sides are clear on their respective visions for each asset in the game and how/when it should be used/useful.

:P Personally, I don't want more staff on team Kong, I just want to see a lot of team Kong's responsibilities given their own teams :P
Kong has way to much stuff on their shoulder, and while they've done some really cool stuff... Some of that stuff is just clearly not their strong suit. (Balance being a fine example) Balancing efforts definitely need their own team, and that team needs to consist of people not currently on team Kong :P

(Because CCP DOES have the ability to patch balance on an almost -daily- basis if they had the desire to do so. Without needing to submit any of it to Sony, or do a client side update via PSN. It just isn't done because there's nobody focusing on balance on a day-to-day basis, and team Kong only looks at it when their team is assigned to do so by the bigwigs who do release planning. ) Agree with this. At this stage of the game balancing is becoming more and more important, but also more and more time-consuming as weapons/suit/vehicle/equipment lineups fill out and knock-on effects multiply and convolve.
And when we consider that Team Kong's execution of their core responsibility(hands-on gamplay) is going to make or break the reputation of this game as a serious FPS, saddling them with something as community-interaction and time intensive as balancing would be working against ourselves.
We need to get to the point where reviewers are forced to re-evaluate past experience and come to respect DUST's core mechanics and features. Delaying this costs us in multiple ways. Furthurmore, imo at least, those aspect's of Team Kong's purvue that bear on the NPE should be identified as the holy grail of development priorities at this point, and the EP should be directly championing Team Kong and creating an environment where nothing stands in the way of polishing the NPE to AAA standards.
I support SP rollover.

So you are saying that most of the work that needs to be done on Dust 514 going forward* is shouldered by a team of 4 guys?
