We have finnaly figoured it out! we know why pc is broken so let me give u a couple corp names that are doin this an i bet u all of dust will agree with me on this . dem durty boys, ancient exiles, outer.haven n nyan san and also team players use this also.
So i had this guy tell me no 1 will ever have a chance to take ancient exiles out because theyll make sure we dont get host in game. how they do it. is by gettn in there first. in pc and they pull host but there playin on other servers . like oceianic blah blah all those other servers an when they do this everyone thats on the otherside get lagg'd right out plz devs. fix this problem this is the reason pc is broken they do stuff after they get host. ask anyone they will vouch this when u go up against any of those corps above u will lagg. thats why they cant be beat... fix that an watch them lose everything. no lie. and thats plaine out cheating. and its not right. so plzzz guys fix this stuff... or alott of people are going to quit an i kno ill be 1 of em to cuz this is bs. sorry for my language.

To reiterate what my corp member had stated, we have found that there are corps out there that are abusing ping timing when fighting in PC's. We have found a member of a specific corp, i.e. kamakazi- TanKer, who has stated that he forces himself to become HOST of the PC, and adds himself and his PC mates to a "Firewall" in order to heighten the ping of the opposing side.
It would be in CCP's best interest to have a centralized PC server to have better ping timing for all members of a PC battle. We apologize for what our corp-mate had stated in the language he had used, he was very upset about this, and was talked to about his posting.

things of this nature only apply to 2 teams from different regions. old news bro
the problem in PC now is lag when 'host' is the same geographical region for both sides, and the latency is pi$$ poor to say the least.
we had our tricks to improve chances of a high ping back in the day, but was only relevant when being an NA crew facing an EU or Asian crew.
the problems that are prevalent now are observed when both sides would get their preferred server in the first place....
and we don't 'use' anything considering its been almost 2 months since we have been in Molden heath... come on kush I know you're at QQ prof 2 but I expect better out of you

I don't understand all the technical stuff with ping and server and host, I just know PC lags for everyone.
The best way I have heard to mitigate lag is to join the war barge, then leave squad, then completely power down your play station, wait 10 seconds, then boot up and go straight back into PC war barge

Kush, you are amazing... just wow.... anyways, this game is server side. CCP hosts the match, so what you are talking about make no sense. This hosting lag issue that you speak of only affects matches that are being fought between different regions, you would of course want the match hosted in your region. If someone forced the match onto the Oceanic server, EVERYONE would lag that wasn't in the region. Get your facts right and don't get so easily pulled into someone that is obviously trolling you. AE, DDB, OH, NS win because they have talented teams. Stop being so whiney towards DDB cause we stomped you guys. You are the one that double crossed us on multiple occasions and you are the one that stole your corp wallet. Don't be mad at us. Have fun on house arrest, you degenerate.

I've been in a few pcs and I've only experienced the lag a couple times. If it is an accidental bug it needs to be fixed. If corps are causing this to happen to stack the odds in their favor then they need to have all their districts and their corp wallet stripped after ccp fixes the bug. Not accusing any corp of doing this. Bottom line, Ccp needs to fix the lag regardless.

You're kinda behind the curve I have read alot of posts on this issue and most corps already have asked for a limiter on equipment or a fix to pc lag.
Honestly when Lag gets that bad we use an emp eve strike and it clears it right up! Maybe this will help.
Also I use aim assist. I farm warpoints because there's no other way to get warpoints. If I kill someone is that a farm? I think that term is misused. I've never witnessed anyone have enough time in a pc to stand and shoot in a pile of nanohives.
That would be farming to me. Plus I think it was Warriors INC?? That used that tactic to get 7 orbitals in pub and pc matches which is why they tuned down the points recieved for ammo.
I think the other reason that above mentioned corporations are so hard to beat is there's alot of incredible people fighting for them.
I am nothing special I am just a no name scrub who was lucky enough to be picked up by one of the best corp's in a game.
I love Ancient Exiles and I know the point of this post wasn't to bash these corps. I would love to see something happen with pc so plus 1 keep up the good fight!

PC has problems and there are some cheesy tactics that everybody uses, but the corps you named above are just really ******* good at Dust.
Remove time in battle from ISK payout formula and provide a bonus to winning team... Watch battles become fun again.

hes talking about controlling the location of the host to ensure one side of the battle lags more then the other, then useing equip spam to completly lag out one side while leaving the other side free to move around.
he doesnt mean the player has host, he means the system has used that player to decide where to host itself within the CCP server network.
its been a well known practice in games where the two teams are located in two difference geographic areas.
an EU team would use a team member to game the system into hosting the game on an EU server to lag out a US oposition. |

the man has a point, this is nothing new. It has been reported by the players since the first week of PC. CCP clearly doesn't care about the only entertaining part of the game. Oh well, PS4 coming soon, and not the CCP soon.

Had about 50 people quit dust from my training corp and swamp because of this, we've been fed dusts vision, people who know not won't put up with all that slimy trash.
I know that desperate pathetic tactics are valid in dust but let's be real here, a lot of scrubs are just desperate to win period, so desperate they'd do anything to gain an advantage through abusing the game as much as possible, so desperate they'd happily hamstring their opponent to remove ALL the competitive elements out of any match.
People don't bring the beef anymore, they poison it.
Ps: Life is where you should be that desperate to win, games are where you have fun, abusing the game as much as possible is not in the slightest competitive, its just plain desperate and I'll be tking anyone on my team in fw who attempts this equipment spam trash in fw come 1.7.

Every game played against Ancient Exiles and also Dem Dirty Boyz Has a Lag Why You ask? they have higher ping and we have lower ping n basically in tech talk that means that people with the higher ping that have host will lag opposing team. This in fack is something that is broken in pc. But can be fixed. Know that CCP knows what it causing the problem they can correct in and gives us smaller corps a chance a victory without lagging to our lose. Which will in turn give us balance!!!!!! MY MATCHS WILL ALL BE VIDEO FROM KNOW ON AND SENT TO CCP TO INVESTIGATE AND FIND A REMEDY TO FIX THE PROBLEM WITH BROKEN PC!!!!!! |

the lack of integrity is ridiculous at the competitive level. We see corps all the time stooping to new lows. When asked why they reply" you have to". About 80 % of my pc experience has been nothing but lag yet I dont go around calling the other team cheaters because the game is broken and lag sucks. I also wasnt aware that jumping into a game before someone else was considered cheating if we are just hanging out for 8 min in the warbarge. Its not our fault you dont keep track of time, last I checked thats just being punctual. Everyone knows the process, you wait for the match to open and join, wait for deployment for 3-5 min till you finally load in and sit in warbarge for a couple minutes going over TACTICTS. How or where there is cheating in that simple process just baffles me. I guess everytime we have a match we are supposed to get ahold of the oppising team and q sync into PC lol.
Also as far as equipment spam goes thats a joke too. We spam equipment because thats what wins games, not because it causes lag. You need well placed spawn points so if you lose the obj you can spawn near the fight. If you rely on spawning at the obj or cru in pc you better go back to PFC or the long lost indie planet. We spawn hives because the more spots you have to resupply and get repairs the better. Actually those arent even tactics, its common sense. You idiots are pretty much crying about us being on time, our logis are actually doing their job and our internet is better than yours. Man CCP is gonna ban us all LMFAO! !! Btw kush I think your house arrest ankle cuff is messing with your brain waves because you definitely got dumber since we last spoke.

How or where there is cheating in that simple process just baffles me. I guess everytime we have a match we are supposed to get ahold of the oppising team and q sync into PC lol.
Also as far as equipment spam goes thats a joke too. We spam equipment because thats what wins games, not because it causes lag. You need well placed spawn points so if you lose the obj you can spawn near the fight. If you rely on spawning at the obj or cru in pc you better go back to PFC or the long lost indie planet. We spawn hives because the more spots you have to resupply and get repairs the better. Actually those arent even tactics, its common sense. You idiots are pretty much crying about us being on time, our logis are actually doing their job and our internet is better than yours. Man CCP is gonna ban us all LMFAO! !! Now, I will admit that as soon as the match opens, we join. Whether or not this makes a difference in lag is up for debate.
I've heard it said that if you can get enough people joining that are on the same server, ie everyone on our team is mostly american, then the main host server is american. Which means less lag for americans, but aussies and them euro people will experience lag.
Now, how in the world could we abuse that sort of system, where we all simply join the PC as soon as it opens? That's what we should be doing anyways! We spend 15 minutes before hand organizing, regardless of whether it helps or not, we are ready to join as soon as that match opens up.
There is no magic we are holding over the rest of you. (also keep in mind DDB has just recently joined the alliance) I'll admit lag is an issues in PC, and I hate to lose because of it, and I hate that our enemies must lose because of it. But, you know why we win.
Because We, Are, Awesome. And awesome don't need no cheats. Now read my sig and QQ some more.

Yes, thank you for bringing that up shaker. On at least two occasions, Necromongers sent clones off of their PFC district in an attempt to capture a district off planet. Their most recent attack was successful and they were able to capture a district from Eternal Beings. This is a violation of PFC rules and grounds for eviction.

1. Sending clones from PFC district off planet. I have been able to verify that Necromongers have violated this rule on at least two occasions.
2. Possessing a PFC district while you have one or more districts off planet. Said district was obtained through violating the "no sending PFC clones off planet," rule.
For violating these rules, your PFC district is to be handed over.
We do not normally police PFC. But we have taken special interest in this case. Necromongers has provoked us on multiple occasions. Your membership making baseless accusations on the forums is just the latest provacation. Their beligerance afterwards has only made the situation worse.

Good match tonight. A lot of things went wrong on our initial push. The lag moster bit us this time and those glitched uplinks were so cute. Your logis did a great job sticking to the heavies and that is what made things so hard for us in the complex. All in all, a good match.

I still try to post information and check back here. Now a CCP dev has said they are going to investigate after 1.7 that makes me feel a little more comfortable. Not sure how this could make you feel comfortable... everyone that has been an active participant in PC at 1 time or another has provided feedback here that its a steaming pile of poo that is gamebreaking. I recall comments dating back to May on the topic. 7 Months later its finally acknowledged as an issue and it will finally be 'investigated'? SMH
Oh I'm no fanboy. All I mean is this is the first acknowledgement of ANY kind from CCP.
Also as far as I am aware the issues have been around for over 1 year. I linked videos from way back in January showing the exact same issues. They still persist to this day so yea almost 1 entire year without any word said. |

Just slamming buttons, till it over heats then retreat and repeat lol that's all I did. I also been maxed out it Scrams beginning of uprising. 25% cool down helps a ton also. I do think they need to increase heat build up thou. Also hip fire way to accurate. |

Maybe the lag comes from when renegade alliance and public disorder. EVE players are trying to connect to a district but suddenly have to warp off due to our EVE players landing on grid. |
