Why limit the respec to only vehicles? I understand you're Taking out and adding skills but you're also adding weapons and an abundance of other wonderful things. Why can't you give everyone a respec so that they can spec into the new vehicle skill tree or go from their current weapons to the new weapons. You haven't done a respec in so long and I believe there are a lot of people (more than 75%) that want one, whether it's for the new vehicles, weapons or because of wasted skill points that they don't use or didn't mean to spec into.
I believe that there is absolutely no harm in a respec and practutcally every other skill tree based game has the option to respec at a price, why not this game?
Now if I have just misread somewhere or failed to read a blog mentioning a full respec I'm sorry for posting this. |

Only adding two rifles, not a total rework of suits and weapons.

I've been saving too but only have 1.3 million SP for Combat Rifles. There is always some new toy I want to try out that eats away at my savings.

I started when they announced the rifles, and just to make sure I didn't frivolously spend them on stupid things, I put all my points in vehicles for safe keeping... Though, now I like ADSs... It may have been a mistake. |

Because all the vehicle skills are changing.
SP levels, what they unlock, and the bonuses they provide.
Same reason why people got the respec back in May. Massive overhaul to the skill tree.
Since only vehicles are being reworked, only vehicle skills get refunded.

We're headed that way by the sound of it...
Anybody who played MAG remember the original way to respec? Each time it cost more and more, I kinda missed that method. |

Just make a respec cost 10k Aurum and 5% of your total SP.

ItGÇÖs because there are supposed to be GÇ£consequencesGÇ¥ for your decisions and thought processes. They are only doing the vehicles because there is a major overhaul. The weapons we have known about now for over a month, so that is plenty of time to save up all of your little SP in a little pink PIGGY bank for when they come out. Kind of like my 2.5m SP pillow I am sitting on anxiously waiting for my new toys.

I think the vast majority of vehicle users are going to go infantry and they are going to regret it. This is just a guess, but I think tanks are going to be beta beast mode with the nerfs to AV.
Remove time in battle from ISK payout formula and provide a bonus to winning team... Watch battles become fun again.

Nope. I say if you donGÇÖt think before you spend, and with the teasers they have been giving us now (30+days) to start planning fro the new toys or changes, you get what you deserve.
Spend ISK, AUR, or SP, you have a choice to sit on it and let it accumulate, or you can let the burning sensation drive you into an idiotic frenzy of spending. Your choice, not CCPGÇÖs. SO suck it up and live with your decisions.
I thought long and hard, crunched the numbers and came to what I think is a rational path for me to travel. I will walk my path with determination and pride. That is because i created the image of myself and built it with my decisions.
I DID NOT chase down someone elseGÇÖs idea of what I could be, as shaped solely by the hands of another, and I refuse to be disappointed with my decisions because they were NOT me.
NO REPECS allowed unless there are MAJOR SKILL TREE STRUCTURAL CHANGES.
Some of you that never went through multiple respecs, like the closed beta crew, may come to appreciate this statement. If not, no sweat off my balls.
If these games are going to accomplish the goals of CCP (i.e., to make games more meaningful than real life), then one thing real life has that NO GAME TILL EVE had, was the reality that you never respect, you just accumulate and diversify. Respec for AUR is OP and P2W. And it only goes to benefit those that have no sense of direction because they have no sense of self.
But if you want to chase the FOTM, be my guest. Just donGÇÖt be surprised when CCP just collects your tears about RESPEC and uses them to power their Wormholes and Mining enterprises.
Want a RESPEC, you may want to look at the new COD. That may be to you liking a bit more.

Hence the conundrum of RESPEC. Though you are able to recreate your sense of self, you also destroy what you have built. All this because people would rather chase a fantasy rather than be OK with who they know themselves to be.
All of those philosophy classes come in handy. SWEET!

I'm not an idiot when it comes to this game and I don't chase the FOTM I also hate COD with a burning passion, I came into this game knowing nothing and have accumulated my knowledge, now with my knowledge I can create myself in my own image but with almost 1.5mil skill points speced into things all over the place (like a first time New player) it just makes my journey a hell of a lot longer when I could have gear that fits my self built image. I'd rather not start a whole New clone since I have worked so hard to get to where I am (3.5mil sp) granted that's not much compared to other players but that Ill placed 1.5mil from when I started could be better spent fine tuning my heavy frame |

It's silly, I figured the board would be burning from both sides of the camp. Those in favor of respec asking why not everyone. And those against respec realizing a large portion of players suddenly doing all the things they have been campaigning against. |

I rather enjoy the journey that is involved with accruing skill points to get things I want. Granted I normally AFK 60 percent of my weekly cap, but that is more out of boredom with the current gameplay. |

As soon as I saw FoTM chasing as your argument against respecs I realized that we are dealing with a moron .. lets face it ... when you have over 15m SP you can spec into the FoTM every patch ... all your argument does is stop new and intermediate players doing the same .. if you were actually any good you wouldn't care what other people did but it's obvious you're scared of competition
Laser Rifles are completely and utterly useless come 1.7 .. they weren't exactly good in 1.6 either .. how can you claim decisions matter when you make a decision and then the goal posts get moved ?

PS The real issue is that vehicle users should be restricted to only investing that SP back into vehicles .. however they now have the option to spec into infantry and infantry don;t get the option to spec into vehicles .. that's why people are complaining about it
