I just want to point this out because i have met a lot of people who instantly avoid the amarr because of slavery. I want to point out that Amarrian tenets of slavery are not the same as anything from the real world, which by no means anyone could condone with conviction, bringing those sorts of circumstances into a game is just foolish. We can look back all we want and say that wasn't right, because our combine cultures have moved in a liberalist direction, but back then it was fine and people didn't know any better, infact you could say that was the turning point where our more liberalist ancestors finally began the process of equality for all people. The Caldari left The Gallente for 2 rather simple reasons - 1: Difference in culture (The Gallente wanted The Caldari to change more then they were willing) & 2: Differing political views of how The 2 Empires should go forward. So a war broke out between the 2 & ironically the war stopped upon the first meeting of The Amarr which The 2 Empires thought might be a greater threat but The Amarr really didn't try "Reclaiming" them as they felt no real need or want so instead introduced themselves.
