Also, make it so Gallente Assaults don't get a speed penalty and Smart get even more go from them.

Why would an innate armor plate require that much more cpu?

NO, if anything they need a reduced PG amount. the PG is so high it hard to fit anything on a proto gallante assault. Ive been trying to fit an all pro to and complex suit and to do it u need level 5 core skills and engineering/electronic what ever their called |

CCP already stated they are trying to find a way to implement a speed reduction on gallente suits when using armor.

As 1 of the greatest gallente warriors to ever exist, imma need you to shut the hell up. I cannot believe with the time line we are on to get what we do in the game that because of your lack of heart or skill you would cheapen ANY rewards for hard work and patience. Not to mention money spent on boosters.

My Gallente Assault is extremely strained on CPU/PG.
Please don't 3:
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Because the HIGH TECH materials that compose these armor plates consume a LOT of CPU!
Or you think putting on COMPLEX ARMOR PLATES that give you a 150HP boost are naturally weightless?

I've always assumed that the armour isn't passive and that it is energized to some degree. The CPU is the overhead to keep it flexible when moving, locking in when aiming and hardening when hit by kinetics. The PG is to power it and keep it running. I also assume the plates contain nanites and with the right module these get activated ie internal reps, reppers on Logi's or a nanite injector (after all it restores armour).
One of the solutions would be to add mid level slots. You would then be more in line with Eve, allow some of the items to go to medium slots and allow a greater variety of suits.
More meaningful decisions a great game makes.
Turrent - the sound a tankers pants makes when he finds out the four swarm militia doing squats around him aren't AFK.

I agree about CPU for REACTIVE plates, but armor plates fitted onto a motorized suit would not necessarily require more servos or electronic components. IMO.
Same deal with ferroscale, armor bolted directly onto or inlaid into suits exoskeleton. |

Even then you will have trouble doing it. The game is designed so that you cannot go "all proto" without sacrificing something liek a side arm or grenade or equipment slot or something. |

These sound like interesting ideas for a change in suit bonuses maybe. Caldari going to get shield bonus then and Minmatar shield recharge or something?

If you increase plate cpu then I want cpu upgrades moved high slot. You have no idea what you just asked for. By doing that, you just nerfed shield tankers into oblivion.
