The AV rebalancing looks very interesting and the new direction for HAVs does too. I'd like to see expanded roles for HAVs in battle and I see such potential in these new patch notes. And there are so many little awesome gems in the patch notes. The CCP team works hard to bring us these changes and content. While it's important to voice your concerns, I'm sure the team would be happy to hear when they are getting some things right.

And there is only one thing (aside from general bug fixes, etc ) that benefits me in the least (combat rifle). CCP stated previously that 1.7 is the vehicle patch whilst 1.8 will focus on infantry. I Support SP Rollover

I guess I'll have to wait until that gets released for my entire account to stop being gimped. And after that, I'll have to wait for [x] units of time for the vehicles I want to become available. At least I can murder Gallente Logis with a combat rifle while I wait.

Offcourse some things have changed, but less things would have needed change if they did the smart work thing. What did you expect? A game were no changes are needed anymore? A few weeks ago I would have agreed that the game developers were putting in allot of work. Not so much now. After a series of patches for fixes with varying degrees of success the "big one" is lackluster. This was the time frame we should have been expecting a new game build or at the very least major new content. Revamping Vehicles and Faction War is not new content. We have other fixes that are more important than Faction Warfare (i.e.frame type disparities, module issues, broken weapons). I almost wish for the days when we were b!tch!ng about only having one map and four suit types. At least back then it felt like this game had potential. Currently what we have is an incompletelobbyshooter and that reflects rather poorly. Uprising 1.0 now feels like a total wash, going to cross my fingers for 2.0 next year. "She may not be Miss Right but she'll do right now." SR-71 310k+ SP for +0.05m/s (>2in) on a Heavy. Totally worth it.

I would urge CCP to move forward with content at the forefront and flanked by bugfixes and iteration. I am not saying that bugfixes and iteration should be forgotten or ignored, just that getting Dust "content complete" (at the very least racial parity for all items we currently have) should be the #1 priority.
