The amount of people promising to grief anyone anytime in any possible way is sad.
I can't understand how you would want to spend your time on a videogame just to ruin other people's fun instead of playing the game or doing something else (something actually fun, social, or useful and constructive).
I can't imagine how frustrated and troubled you must be to enjoy ruining other player's experience.
Forums are filled with these threads. Probably some of them are just there to start some flame and make people QQ, but probably FW will be unplayable, seeing how many of them are proliferating.
I'm a little upset. I feel sad for these people (so supposed griefers), who can't find better entertainment and enjoy annoying other people for no reason, and even more sad for the victims.

I suspect some of them don't actually intend to follow through, and are just trying to point out the exploit potential in Technicolor.

Yeah don't get sad. People who actually follow through with this will lose interest really quick 1) they are probably children with no attention span 2) they don't actually care about dust. We will see how it goes and find out if the penalties need to be more harsh. FF in FW is definitely a step in the right direction. |

People are just reacting to the announcement of the possibility. The first week will probably be bad, bit I'm sure griefing will simmer down over time, with only the occasional pest or hoard of gankers.
Those who have the drive to grind FW will have more will to continue than the children getting a cheep giggle. Still, keep safe by joining squads and queue syncing as many reliable teammates as you can into FW.

I don't think there will be as much griefing as we might think by looking at all these threads.
Sme peeps are pure greifers, true. But many peeps are just expressing their frustration and pent-up anger over mechanics CCP has allowed to exist. For example. some of us still remember the names of the biggest LAVtards. And all of us have been frustrated by AFKing generated by CCP's backasswards passive in-match skillpoint dole.
So for a lot of the TKing that's being threatened, peeps will only be shooting teammates as proxies for CCP's game design choices.
Imo CCP would do well to think long and hard about what that means for the ultimate success/failure of DUST.

No offense, but what others do to have fun in their game is none of your business.
People on the short end of the stick of pubstomps could considering it to be griefing. The response towards these players not having fun, HTFU.
People getting dominated by an godly HAV (back in the day it was much more common) didn't have much fun getting rolled over 15 times a match. Same response to those people, HTFU with Adapt or Die tagged along with it.
There are people who have fun doing things their way. If team killing in FW is their cup of tea, then so be it. HTFU, Adapt or Die.
You aren't the only person playing this game girly, so please step off that pedestal because the citizens of New Eden are going to enjoy the game however they want to, just like you, as is their right.

You speak as if you know us. Keri is speaking on her opinion on the matter and whichever corp she is associated with should have no bearing in the matter. With that said, we, as a corp, pride ourselves on being one of the best. Quite honestly though, no one really wants to attack our districts in PC, so we are forced to re-locate to other game modes to pass the time. Do we ALL proto in pub matches? No. Some of us do though and that can be said with any other corp out there, frankly.
Resorting to name calling will only get you on our radar, sadly...but most O.H. will just see your post, giggle a bit and move on. Lack of content will have good players and bad players meeting on the same battlefield currently. The current matchmaking system is flawed and that is me being quite "generous" on this matter. So to re-iterate:
1. FW will now allow us "protostompers" a place to compete with similar competition, should they share similar sentiments. You should be smiling at this now.
2. Bad matchmaking, mimimal Academy WP requirements (allowing new players to enter too soon), lack of a proper new player tutorial (still) and lack of game mode options are your REAL enemy, sir.
3. You seem to have a huge chip on your shoulder. Let it go already.

luckily I travel in a squad so I can kill twice just to be safe and pass it on to my other mates to kill him twice as well.

Thats why i try and get as many co-op only games as i can. Pvp will always equal bullies hate trolls racism and God knows what else. I got into this game because it was supposed to have pve. I have never had any problems on pve every one is kind thoughtful and almost always willing to help. I cant say the same for the selfishly motivated trash we call competitive multiplayer. |

^ This and with only a small handful of confirmed "griefers", there is a very small chance we would actually see them in game anyway, even with Dust's already dwindling playerbase.

I can't imagine how frustrated and troubled you must be to enjoy ruining other player's experience.
Forums are filled with these threads. Probably some of them are just there to start some flame and make people QQ, but probably FW will be unplayable, seeing how many of them are proliferating.
I'm a little upset. I feel sad for these people (so supposed griefers), who can't find better entertainment and enjoy annoying other people for no reason, and even more sad for the victims.
Human beings are supposed to be so advanced and civilized, yet so many of them obstruct the creation of a simple game-community by their own anti-social nature.
No offense, but what others do to have fun in their game is none of your business. People on the short end of the stick of pubstomps could considering it to be griefing. The response towards these players not having fun, HTFU. People getting dominated by an godly HAV (back in the day it was much more common) didn't have much fun getting rolled over 15 times a match. Same response to those people, HTFU with Adapt or Die tagged along with it. There are people who have fun doing things their way. If team killing in FW is their cup of tea, then so be it. HTFU, Adapt or Die. You aren't the only person playing this game girly, so please step off that pedestal because the citizens of New Eden are going to enjoy the game however they want to, just like you, as is their right. Welcome to New Eden.
Killing and "enemy" and trolling an "enemy" is completely different than trolling one of your own teammates. Why in the world would i want my enemy to have any fun or enjoyment? thats just silly. If you troll a fellow member of your team however there is something wrong with you. |

Perhaps. Or perhaps I'm just stating my repulsion for griefing.
Anyway, I'm reading all the comments with interest.
For some of you, losing a competition is the same as being victim of griefing. In according to this point of you, my argument is invalid because I run proto gear or because I'm a member of Outer Heaven (lol at that butthurt comment, it made my day).
So: Enjoying winning and killing enemies = Enjoying griefing.
And: Losing in a game = Being griefed
I was expecting this kind of replies, but still it doesn't make sense to me.

There's probably only a dozen Dust players who really get their kicks griefing in this way.
But they are all forum trolls as well, so you see a dozen threads about it.
