DUST Search - need respec. look in my shoes

And then, in about 1 or 2 months, CCP will have given you enough SP so you can spec into what you want now. It really works like a charm! They just need time to give you these SP. They can't give you all of them at once.

Because almost everyone uses an assault rifle or scrambler rifle, which does +5% to shields, and -10% to armor or something like that. Mass drivers, sub machine guns, and grenades tear me apart just like your counterparts tear through you. Shield tankers are quick, able to hit and run, armor tanks are slow and just have to hope like hell they win their encounter because if they don't, they're not going to be able to escape to safety and heal as quickly without hives or a rep tool.

shadow soilder sephiroth clonez 2	Posted - 2013.12.13 06:39:00 - [8] - Quote i got it now with the new caldari rail rifle it make it easy to kill gallenta even if stacked damage mods. rail rifle drops armor like scramble rifle drops shield i feel pleased now thx ccp for 1.7. it help me alot. now i can shield tank caldari without getting slaughter by gallenta all the time. hunger games

You fully skilled in to a fit of the month, and when that fit got balanced to be on par with other parts of Dust you decided to beg for a respec. Your actions on this game have consequences, and you will learn to live with your decisions, wether good or bad, and you will move on just like everybody else.

A new player will naturally skill into what is deemed best by the player base as a whole. That is neither stupid nor foolish and no one but the Devs know what is to change and how the game will change in the future. That the advantage of the choices were removed by the developer is not the players fault, it is not even in the realm of their control. All anyone can ever do is make the best decision with the best information they have at the time. If we all had perfect information then the choice would be easy, but we do not. In fact there will be many more changes until the game finally achieves a sense of ongoing balance and can be comparable in quality to other esteemed shooters. That threshold has not yet been met. Once we are there, once the major changes have taken place, and once there is a decent amount of content, THEN there should be a respec. A respec right now would be inadvisable I believe as I think CCP needs the data that is constantly accruing to guide there future decisions on how to go about balancing the game. Give it some time.

This is your problem, not CCPs. actually i think you'll find that having money does get you special treatment xD Im sure if you offered something like $1,000 you could get a lifetime supply of aur and a respec :P however, It isnt his fault at all. he specced into the optimal choice at that point in time and stuck by it. If CCP decide to nerf the hell out of it afterwards, it wasnt in his power and so he couldnt have predicted the future .. In my opinion, we all should get 1 final compulsory respec once all gear is released and no more. Best game with a Python: 33kills 1 death (1.6) 24kills 1 death (1.7)
