But seriously the niche weapons are being outclassed by their 'jack of all trades' counterparts, MD, Shottys, and LRs all need work.

I've met a particular shotgunner who rarely missed the shots and only used ADV suits, it was a Min Assault. Even though I had 3 dmg mods on my suit with 680 Armor it didn't matter much it 2-3 shots were be fired faster than I could kill him. There were only a few instances that I killed the guy in a 1v1 and that was me usually being left in critical health after hitting 90% of my shots. The rest of the encounters I had to win it with LAV reps and even that barely kept me alive, 2 OBs were saved just for me after I killed him and I died in many other occasions. Shotguns dmg needs to be reduced to the original amount which was 30 HP per pellet on the STD (now would be 33) as even a militia shotty can leave me in critical HP on a direct hit.

Sorry but I've used shotguns before and they're simply too easy to get kills with the right fit, all the guys I used to play with also said the same. Anytime I would see another good shotgunner I knew that the encounter was likely be a 50/50 so I really couldn't be bothered with taking those risks. PRO shotguns aren't even needed to rack up the kills as the damage for militia is still high, all you need to do is use a speedy fit to avoid the incoming damage and not miss (2-3 hits to kill).
