ccp will just implement a kick from battle system or something similar. ccp is trying to implement more viable game modes with extra danger and some of you have no interest in the content apart from the fact you can abuse one of the main mechanics for increasing the danger and risk. if you grief fw too much they will just implement a way to stop you and in doing so ruin it for everyone else.
it has not even started yet and people are coming up with ways to ruin it. i hope ccp is taking note and coming up with solutions

they need to have levels of rep.
for example 1-5
lvl 1 rep you gain little rep and if you team kill you are kicked after the 2nd kill unless they are forgiven and lose rep lvl 2 rep gives slightly more rep and can team kill 1 more player than level 1 before kicked and you lose slightly more rep lvl 3 lvl 4 lvl 5 rep gives you alot more rep than the others and can kill 4 more players than lvl 1. if not forgiven you loose alot more rep than lvl 1
the key here is the higher rep gives you more responsibility and higher reward. team killing therefor offers the most risk but as you are likely experienced and in a team your not presumed to be a team killer and offered better protection. should however you decided to go that way you risk alot of rep.
with regards to the lower levels the risk of team killing is higher as you have less to lose so if you do team kill then the faction paying your fee will just revoke your contract and revoke your clone in privelages.

We may change those thresholds after we launch too, we'll see how it all goes. Holy poop! We need to broadcast this! It was mentioned in the devblog, but the blog was pretty long so I'll forgive you for missing it: http://dust514.com/news/blog/2013/12/strengthening-the-link-factional-warfare-in-uprising-1.7/Quote:The first way a player can be removed from a Factional Contract match is by being punished for excessive team killing. When you team kill a player, that player will have the option on their kill screen to punish the person who killed them. If you get punished enough in a single match you will be kicked from the battle.
The other way a player can be removed from a Factional Contract match due to friendly fire is by simply dealing substantial damage to teammates or their vehicles. When you damage a friendly in Factional Contracts, the amount of damage you are cause will be tracked. You will get 4 warnings, but upon dealing enough damage you will be removed from the match. Damage done to teammates that forgive you is still counted, so watch your fire! Will overkill damage on infantry count? For example, if you're charging a breach forge gun and a blueberry jumps in front of you.
best watch where you toss those flux grenades lol

i doubt it. kill mail goes to the guy in space and tk based on orbitals would render most orbitals an instant kick for even the carefullest of squad leaders considering the sheer amount of ungrouped wannabe rambo's in dust charging into fire. i can't see ccp implementing that but i could be wrong. either way i doubt it will be in place for long

so "danger close" orbitals are now a thing of the past seen only in pub matches. i dont see this staying in FW for long considering it will likely get anyone who uses it kicked from the fight and costing the squad its leader. it not worth the risk for anyone to use an orbital if thats the case
