I found latency issues being the big problem of the PLC.
No worries if you miss a few bullets with an AR, using a PLC...not so much. |

that non-existent shot is a **** but tbh I am finding it happens way less than what it used to
Yes, and also shots flying throughout the enemy.
PC warm up battles in ambush and skirm: going +10 kills/game. PC battle (with the usual lag) Can't hit a thing.
Luckily i only play PC once in a blue moon. |

Everyone and their mom will be using one if they change all that stuff so IF they do change it then I hope it will be just some minor adjustments.
I know I'm frowned upon if I run my logi with a PLC, but most of them change their minds if they see those reds popping in front of them. It's not that the AR is to goto weapon for all situations that other weapons have to be like that if you know the strength and weaknesses of it then you should be fine. |

I won't argue that it isn't a factor, but to write of someone else's skill as just luck, just because you can't do it yourself, is... arrogant.
Hitting snipers from 200m is hitting a stationary target. Being able to hit anything else is the direct result of a) incompetence on the part of the target and/or b) a ridiculous amount of luck. Does that mean we have to ignore moving targets?
Why should the target be incompetent? If he is looking at at PLC-user maaaaybe, it is funny how many people think they can still shoot you before they get a PLC in the face, I find these the easy kills, then again this can be said about every weapon.
Most of the times they shouldn't have seen you firing it. Flank them, hit them from the side (lead your target, drop the 'luck'). Corner-shots,.... This isn't a lets-stand-in-front-of-eachother-and-do-a-standoff-shootout-game.
Mobius Kaethis wrote: Some of you seem to have me confused with someone who is doubting the fun of the plasma cannon. That I am not. A weapon can be fun and suck all at the same time.
Maybe you should stop seeing it as just fun and come back here again. Believe me, fix the current existing issues first then see how much more kills a person can get. You don't want to post NERF PLCs threads in the forums because everyone is making a killing with them in the future.

I'm a logi, I focus on helping my team out in the first place or holding a spot but my PLC-kills are equal to my AR-kills. Before you make a comeback and say I have nothing to say about #kills because I run logi: I even can manage to come out on top in ambush if I focus on killing, but hey I don't want to be called an assault-logo now, do I?
No sidearm, grenade spam is gayyy I only use is at a last resort, who the hell equips a PLC if they are going to grenade spam. Oooh it's funny that PLC can't kill with nades but that you don't count grenade kills in your average game for non-scout players.
But sure I can get it when people are just using a weapon for FUN that they can't go positive, then again how many people of negative with their ARs? **** guys, the AR is useless!

The dense plasma discharge it generates is highly unstable, decaying rapidly and venting sufficient heat and energy to severely damage targets caught within its critical emission radius.
Did the description change, because I see nothing about it being an AV weapon.
I've taken down several tanks, but are you saying the PLC has to be overpowered so everybody can complain their HAVs get destroyed by one PLC hit? Taking out a tank is no solo-effort.
Maybe you have the join the PLC-channel and hop into a game with them because honestly you are not going to believe anything of what we say while making misinformed assumptions. |
