no cause you can shot more then 1 bullet in 1 sec so the damage reduction would be more around 1-2%. Not 10% as you have stated.

IMO armor reps are out in favor of absorbing as much alpha damage as possible.

With proper Logistics support you're generally better off stacking as much armor HP as you can without inhibiting your speed too much. Considering a Complex Armor Repairer with max skills only reps at 6.25 HP/sec and a Militia Repair tool reps over 6 times faster....those local armor reps are quickly outclassed by Logistics support.

Not worth it. Bearing in mind a militia AR without proficiency does 425 DPS, that 6.25 HP/s pales in comparison.

No reduction in damage whatsoever. Why? Repairs only start up when there's a time window of no damage. So while you're taking damage the repairs stay offline, unless you have a game bug of some kind.

Arkena is correct.

When talking to new players about their fit I tend to suggest having two different variants of their favourite suit(s); one with just plates, and one with one of the plates replaced by a repper.
The plates-only suit is used when they know there is a logi on the team with a repair tool, or if they are in control of a supply depot that can be used for suit-swap-repairs.
If they don't have another source of reps I recommend they use the plate+repper suit. The repper doesn't help at all during the firefight, but it reps them up between firefights so they start the next one at full strength.
To use a contrived example, lets say you tend to lose all your shields and 30% of your armour in each firefight. Another plate wouldn't help you, because you end each with 70% armour left. However, you'd die in your fourth firefight if you couldn't rep in between. With that single repper you might lose 45% of your (lower) armour in each fight,, but you start at 100% again each time.
RF Gyro: 12.5% damage bonus; 10.5% rate of fire bonus

I've been debating this ever since I first started playing and I can tell you right now that having more than half of your total low slots is a waste.
i.e. if you have 3 low slots, run at most 1. if you have 4 or 5 run at most 2.
However, if you already have your logi skill at 4/5, then you practically already have a complex repper on at all times...so let's just say that it counts as a single module. At this point, the max you would ever need on your suit would be one complex. _____________________________________________
Now, whether or not you run two modules (or 1 if you already have 4/5 passive) is all dependant on whether you are going to be supporting your allies, running around ducking behind cover, or facing your enemies head on.
Personally as a logi I run 11.25 hp/s (one complex module + 5hp/s) on my support, shotgun, and mass driver fittings, while none on my ASCR fits.
Lastly, don't run any if you have 250 or less armor OR if you can rely on someone else to repair your armor.

To get to 20hp rep means sacrificing to much armor, ~10 is enough. This is subject to change after 1.7. |

The armor reps in this game are not like the armor reps in EVE. You can have an active armor tank in EVE which will allow you to repair a significant amount of damage while simultaneously taking damage making it a viable option to have armor repairers as a sustainable way to tank.
In DUST, however, the armor repairers do not repair anywhere near enough for this mechanic to be a viable option. One bullet from any gun significantly out damages what a single armor repairer could repair. Thus, any armor repairer should only be used as an "in-between" tool. What I mean is that you should rely on a huge buffer of armor (lots of HP) and use the armor repairers to heal between engagements. Having multiple repairers will allow you to have multiple engagements sooner, rather than having to wait for a good amount of time to pass before you can go back into battle.
Does that make any sense?

This have a sense because you are fast, with a logi suit, put more than 1 complex rep use too much resources compared to the advantages that a plate can give.
