While I agree, the Forge Gun is silly-easy (and to think, FG specialist were praised in Chromosome for being "brave"", I feel it is at least harder to use than Proxy Mines. Proxy Mines involve throwing a bunch of **** on a road and hoping for a car to drive by. Prox mines are actually pretty hard to use unless you literally make a mine field. Even then most LAVs can get past them before they even explode. The damage isn't really enough to damage tanks a lot. You forgot to mention how you get a loud bepping sound before your about to run one over. You can be going full speed in an LAV and still have enough time to react and stop to drive around them
And this is from personal experience,

proto swarmers, I sometimes forget I have to connect the dots for u brainiacs. Do you really think I meant two volleys? If you have a bit of knowledge and pay attention, we wouldn't have to dumb down a conversation for the sake of the slow. |

Swarms Gëá Swarm Launcher
Swarm = volley of missiles

Madness is the emergency exit. You can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened.

Because waiting for the article to turn red on something the size of a kitchen is so very hard It bugs me that all the designated AV weapons are stupidly easy to use. I really wish they were a bit more difficult to use, AV might be fun then. On a scale of 1 to 10 how difficult would you say piloting an HAV or LAV is? As someone who has used both Vehicles and AV extensively I will share my opinion with you. Easy to hard, from top to bottom: Swarms (as a Caldari, I find these offensively easy to use) AV Nades Flux Grenades LLAVs Prox. Mines LAVs Armor Tanks Forge Guns Shield Tanks Plasma Cannons As someone who has used both Vehicles and AV extensively I will share the truth with you.
HAVs are stupid easy to pilot. Anyone named Joe The Scrub can easily slap 2 basic hardners, basic nitrous, a 120 plate, and some efficient reps and easily go 30-0.
Heck, none of these things are difficult to use at all. (Except maybe PLCs) The fact that you would even suggest that they have any slight amount of difficulty in terms of it's operation makes me offended to be Caldari.
And why did you list PLCs up there? They are quite literally the equivalent of rubber chickens in terms of AV usage. They are much better of being used as AI than AV. [/quote] ^ Also he forgot remote explosives, which are way more viable than a Plasma Cannon. Just plant 3 of them, lure a LAV, and get an easy +90-190.

Serious question here.
We all understand that the nerf is to balance them with the new vehicle mechanics. Right?

when I give orders to "get swarms on that fool" I expect a multiple swarm launchers from different points on the map. Do your squad whips have to give a lecture to be effective? With comms less is more |

They have not earned my faith in their competency to do jack **** right. Especially on the first pass. Maybe if they used actual gamers to test the parameters, instead of a bunch of amateur statisticians who base their work in theory and optimal operating conditions, then I could believe maybe something positive would happen for both sides of the AV debate. Until then, it's safest to assume that it's going to be ****** up for all of us.

i suggested two new specialization skills for Swarms
Swarm Missile velocity - 10% per level to speed of missiles Swarm Missile flight time - 10% per level to flight time of missiles
and the lock range should be 250m not 175m, its far too short. dropships just ab to the ceiling after first hit now. militia A-B type ships arn't usually too difficult but any half decent plate/resist DS can run out of lock range easy enough as it is now so after the changes it'll just be even worse

I can survive way more than two swarms. They're either not using hardners, or the hardners died.
And being outside the render distance does not effect it's damage, so you are either a troll or lying.
Not that the latter would surprise me, I see pilots do it all the time.
