Reav Hannari wrote:It's my birthday so I bought $20 worth of Aurum and spent it on prototype level gear which I'm going to use to prance around and look pretty in. I don't really care what the discount is or was supposed to be. That has got to suck........ All that turkey AND cake. Happy Birthday turkey man! |

Justicar Karnellia wrote:This gets repeated in every thread that deals with aurum, but the aurum marketplace and aurum as a currency is now terrible value. Players that have been here longer than six months have absolutely no use for hundreds of expendable weapons that they can buy with ISK. For new players, the only advantage is you get to buy items which you are not proficient yet with to use in battle, which seems a bit of a paradox for me - if you are not proficient with the item, you certainly aren't going to be effective with it in battle. The only upside is maybe you can try out the item before investing skills into it, but then you'd only need one or two copies...
Then there are boosters, but if you bought merc packs like me, you're probably good for another couple of months anyway. Hope they find some way to make aurum attractive again.
YOU ARE WRONG! Lol I would rather spend 15aur for a 77k gun then spend my precious gold. You are trying to tell me your lvl 5 every single gun? Ps I have 30mill sp. Would you buy officer weapons with aur? |
