Don't give points for destroying neutral turrets and other installations. The majority get destroyed at the start of the match because people see free points when they see those turrets
How about using them as a strategic asset for once?
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Honestly I destroy them rather for self protection, I can't count the times an unmanned railgun sniped me out of my LAV or simply destroyed that LAV or where railturrets/blasterturrets killed infantry with dead on precision. And it is better to destroy them when they can't shoot back
Yes the points are nice but there are really other reasons to destroy these things...
EDIT I am fine with them not giving points ^^ |

for vehicle users this would be a nice change since most people at the start of a game run out there with a AV weapon and makes it really annoying for first 10 secs of the game a swarmer hits you across the map lol

I like this idea, along with it x4 their HP. These things should be strategic objectives worth fighting over, not free WP and death traps. If you do this, remove the redline ones all together and put them in better strategic locations where they are contestable. |

The bigger issue is the danger they pose to vehicle users, which is why they destroy them all at the beginning. I understand eliminating threats, but I don't think you should be starting the match with 700WP gained from turrets no one was even using.

Strongly agree. Some tankers will still destroy them to remove a potential threat to their tanks, but that's a much better reason than pointhawks destroying them for selfish gain.

I believe that everything you can destroy should have wp, that includes neutral turrets. But i do think they should have alott less wp, then when you are actually destroying a reds turret. Perhaps something more like 30 wp or so, just for your effort of a preemptive strike. |

I reckon the turrets need to be tougher. No need to increase damage, just hp. A decent blaster tank should haveto use its reppers to defeat one without exploding, that kind of tank. To counterbalance this, I reckon these turrets should have ammunition supplies which, once depleted, slowly replenish over time when unused.

Redline turrets should be there to prevent being redlined, not to kill stuff on the other side of the map. |

Wrong I see them as things that can hurt my tank. I can not count on anyone other than my squad in 8 out of 10 games. If I do not blow them up right away it will likely kill me. I can not say I disagree with neutral installations not rewarding points.

If tankers want to kill them (as my tanker alt does ), they still can, just no juicy 100 WP's for killing an neutral structure.

Killing turrents = helping team 2 which = war points If you take away the points for killing them it wouldnt be right because repping guys getting a uplink down or a nano is helping your team you get points also killing turrents saves tanks lavs lav passangers dropships and everything else and also giving points for destroying them helps people get orbitals and whats the problem with this little bouns we get for killing turrent any way. |

I would be perfectly happy with this (I'd rail the damn things anyway, out of principle), and I'd also be prepared for a cut of say, 50% to the points granted by destroying a red turret, to make hacking it more appetising versus destroying it. |

Majority tanker thought process: Neutral installations are quick and easy war points for me. YAY ME!!!
Minority tanker thought process: Neutral installations could be taken by a red and possibly shoot at me. I'll take it out while it's neutral to prevent any possibility of that happening. I don't care if my team might have been able to use it as a tactical asset, and the extra WP early in the match is a nice bonus. Too bad for my team mates.
Rare tanker thought process: I'll wait to see who hacks the installations. If it's ours, I'll leave it. If it's theirs I'll kill it. If we can't have it, no-one can.
No tanker ever thought process: Installations can be valuable tactical assets. I'll kill it only if my team can't take it in a timely manner. Let's redline these guys!
The forge gun splash radius nerf has not diminished my ability to kill infantry with it. Thank you.
