CCP, your player base has got together and collectively agreed what should be done about logistics suits. In fact, it is so obvious that we are angry it didn't occur to you and that we are having to point it out.
We, the players, all all unanimously agreed that the best approach is

I thought you left the rest of the post out, but then I read your signature. A 12.5% damage bonus and 10.5% rate of fire bonus? Sounds great. Can't wait to pull out my Duvolle and go to town.

Unfortunately Republic Fleet Gyro-Stabilizers are far too large to be fitted to even tanks, and as such I do not believe we would be able to integrate them into any logistics dropsuits. Furthermore, their bonuses only apply to projectile weapons, so your Duvolle Assault Rifle would gain no benefit from one being fitted to your dropsuit.

Well as much as I would love a CN BCS for my Swarm Launcher, I'll have to agree that a 5 cubic meter module might drop my speed too much to be worth it.
Regardless, I think one of the most reasonable "fixes" to Logistics is to lower their base CPU/PG, but increase the effective CPU/PG to current levels by giving all Logistics the decrease to the CPU/PG cost of equipment. This encourages equipment use because its 'cheap' to equip, while preventing stacking of multiple high-grade defensive and offensive modules.
This paired with an increase in the damage output of Assaults as well as proper racial weapons skills, will encourage people who want to play assault to actually use Assault, and those who want to run support to actually use Logistics.

I think you mean attributes (and you're still missing a few if that's the case). Description is this:
Gives a bonus to the speed and damage of projectile turrets.
Penalty: Using more than one type of this module or similar modules that affect the same attribute on the ship will be penalized.

I find it hard to believe you even know what a Republic Fleet Gyro is. There are so many basic principles in Eve that you have failed to capitalize on in Dust, that it makes it appear you haven't a clue about how things operate in New Eden. |

5m cubed is 5m by 5m by 5m... That would be almost tank sized... Hence too large to fit on a tank.

No my friend, it isn't 5 meters cubed, but 5 cucbic meters. As in, one of the sides cubed equals 5 meters. Threfore, to find a side, given the volume, we merely find the cube root of the given 5 meter volume, and after rounding, we arrive at 1.3 meters.
The cube you described would be 125 cubic meters, or 5 x 5 x 5. |

There are micro mechanical gyro sensors that can be used as gyro stabilizers IRL.
Got one in front of me at the office now, it is 1 cm^2 in size.
