No fucks was giving in that match lol

Must have been a guy so fresh out of the academy he didn't know how to hack a turret. He kept meleeing it The rail turret got mad and killed him at least 4 times I want to help new players. I admire his determination. If I will create an alt to enter the academy, it will to try and recruit them to my awesome corporation. I will persuade them by helping them through the match, only make few warpoints and let them run the show and learn how to work in Dust. I remember very well when I was new back in the days, not sure if I could shoot down the big space ship in the sky or not.

It's kind of an exploit honestly because people of high experience can take advantage of noobs and practically ruin their experience of the game. CCP should find a way to limit players with multiple accounts from getting into Academy, period. Only people who are 100% new to the game and just created their first character should be able to enter Academy.

I ran up the terminals in BF and could not figure out how to hack the damned terminals, instead of shooting the thing. The same happens when new players run up to the letters and shoot at them instead of hacking them.

I mean if they played Battlefield or similar team playing games they should know striaght away how to play it...

We saw a red dot and I told the person to reload behind cover, but while doing so we noticed that our potential threat was firing away with his smg pointed towards the sky. They were about 5 meters away from each other and I could only hope he was using a poorly calibrated move controller. The op kinda proves that there needs to be a better npc driven progression for new players that go beyond basic dropsuit fittings and joining a battle. I think ccp is afraid new players might be stuck by themselves if academy lasts too long and there isn't a wave of new players. Maybe academy should ween them onto the bigger battles instead of just being taken away from the new player. After you get however many warpoints it is to leave academy you should still have the option to join those battles for a bit longer for less sp in order to practice more.
