Once, I was coming up against an AE squad running proto gear. I was pretty frustrated that I was getting killed by their squad leader, so I switched to my scout fit, and would try to rush him over and over just trying to kill him once. I ended up going something like 2 and 13 that match, but I messaged him afterwards joking around about how much I sucked.
I think he thought I was writing him hate mail, because he was quite standoffish...

I sent one to some badass nova knifer last night. A mate and I were rolling in Templar gear for some ISK and this guy was just rolling around as we were fighting his buddies knifing us and others in the back.

I'm to lazy to compliment so usually I just send "gg!" or "GG!" to whoever I noticed in the battle, or to whoever killed me the best...

mmm. A while back I mailed some heavy that stood guard over Obj. A an entire skirmish. I lost count of how many times we killed each other (to be fair, it was mostly me getting killed), by the end of the match I had to mail him some random over-hyped faux insult about slapping him in the face with a wet fish. He laughed. That was a good game.
I don't often, just because it's a PITA with the controller, but I will if it's a good play. I sent a mail the other night to some kat that managed to kill me at the same time I killed him with our dueling ARs. That always makes me smile.

Usually I just click through my death screen (killed by) in the heat of the moment, so I lose track of my killers....
Wish you could go into your kill/death chart and pull up the individual death sheets again.

I send some gg's but unfortunately there are enough tryhard jerks in this game that have to be a-holes about literally everything it often discourages me. Just want to slap every person who replies with the dickish "who r u?" while they fondle their epeen.
I just don't send them to people in certain corps anymore unless I know they r chill.

There's a 'last match' function in the Neocom where you can see the charts for your most recent battle. I think they put it in a couple of patches ago.
RDVs are a failed experiment - can't we just remove them from the game?

Those that send legit mail about something from a match, i always reply. I get GG often, which gets one in return. And the super rare instance when an individual garners my attention gets a GG mail from me.
other than that, i randomly send 'rebel scum' mails pre-game to the shoeshiners union in the warbarge. Man i cant wait til FW has some sort of meaning aside from the sinful pleasure in my head :P
Common Sense and Logic are 2 things you have to forget when posting on these forums.

i know, and it's been great and helpful. But that shows you only the match summary, correct?
I guess I'm hoping to get to a detailed kill board per match. Though that might be data overload.
Maybe CCP will introduce badges for kill streaks or something.

i always send GG to any player who did exceptionally well or just outgunned me or outsmarted me (damn you remote explosive users!). i also send GG to to the top player of a squad of corp members, letting them know how much ass there squad kicked.

I mostly send mails saying gg and whatever they did that got my attention..mostly by dieing some way that makes me lmao...say like chasing a guy and then turning the corner and getting plasma cannon to the face doesnt happen alot but I love it when it happens for some reason its funny to me or dieing in a such a way it makes me feel stupid cause I should have seen it coming |

I was losing HP when hiding near a cru and couldn't figure out what was happening. So I look up and see this Minnie scout with A plasma cannon launching at me. I aim with my scrambler rifle and start plugging him, and just as I land the last shot to get the kill, his plasma shot lands and kills me, right as I get the +50 for a kill. He messaged me about how funny it was that we killed each other at the exact same time. I concurred wholeheartedly. Felt good to know some people who play this game aren't assholes.
