CCP can't balance games based around player skill... They have no testing process for this.. They have never invited a competition environment anywhere so they can observe.. Offered no streaming of tournaments...
They barely even know what this game looks like played at the end game... How would they balance anything around player skill then? |

Now what we need is the dropships from the old days. the days before they got nerfed to hell. It was such a challenge to take the things out and fun too. Dropships need more resistances and more HP.

We need racial AV. Explosive heavy weapons --> armour killer.

Look man ... us AV heavies got to eat too ... How the heck are we supposed to pay for our gear if we can't kill anything ? Snipe infantry ? Fun but not very ammo efficient especially after the splash nerf...it's not like we can carry nano hives around with us . A job with no reward ain't worth doing ,,,,

Lets nerf your gun instead. Lets make it so AR damage is cut down to 10 damage. That will fix the game. My 2 GUNS DONT NEED A NERF. or better yet "nerf ever thing and shoot cotton balls" what a wise friend said

Re-read the post, son. It's about vehicles. How many times do you see dropships fly around the map without getting blown out of the sky? Forge guns can two shot dropships, we can't see where you're firing from and the time between shots makes it almost impossible to accelerate away from the forge gunner. They have an effective range of four hundred meters because it's been bloody proven to be over 300, which is what the description says. so don't get over-protective of your over-powered death machine that costs relatively nothing in comparison to my 1.2 million ISK dropship that took millions of SP to unlock and fit properly. That vehicle is blown away by people like you with who waddle around with the forge gun, 2-shotting a vehicle that is absolutely no threat to you, because you don't even render unless my ship is over your head.

I tried ignoring isk being a factor.
Logi derpship
Light rep 60mm poly plate 1 voltaic plate 1 n type active hardener
2 shield extenders amounting to 2200 ish shields to buffer swarms.
Flew around being a mobile cru/transport/missile support like intended, went through almost 12mil isk in 3 hours.
And yes I can fly very well (not that crazy acrobatic sht you can do though) but even a good match nets me about 160k. I didn't see the point in a booster as the logi derpship is there for support.
Try using a logi derpship as intended, you will be skint within a day mate lol, seriously love it though.
Tldr: derpships are isk sinks,.

And why the fk dont logi derpships have the same resistance as logi lavs? If I'm supposed to hover and support you'd think it'd apply to the derpship as well, and fk armour transporters on derpships, seriously wtf lol.
