I don't, but I would.
Right now I feel no need to have a high-end assault suit as it wouldn't be significantly better at its role than the proto logi suit I can already use.
I actually think that is a shame.

If the Logi gets nerfed and you feel the need to go to Assault Suits, then you should have been using an Assault Suit in the first place.

I use my >1000hp callogi only supporting heavys. No firepower, only proto equipment and shield/plates. that is easily >3500WP/ battle with 0 kills

I know that I use my logi to support as well I only engage in Firefights if there is no real alternative like hiding behind a heavy with my focussed repairtool... |

I have a proto suit though I may transition iunto a mimtar or gallentte assault, not a fan of the caldari assault. |

No I enjoy Logi-ing more than assulting.
Will get an assult suit if I get a respec though but I cant see it happening ( went into flaylocks upon launch before everyone was using them till they got the nerf bat) |

Proto Heavy, Proto Assault, Proto Logi... Now onto scout after 1.7 and not before I try out the new toys. I keep ahead of the FOTM by speccing into everything. In a few months I will have run out of things to spec into so who knows what I am going to waste my SP on may even save it.

Well, my first point would be that if they remove the light weapon option, the amarr logi would be kind of screwed, so I don't know if that is going to happen.
But if they did, and left the amarr logi with two sidearm slots, then I would just run a dual SMG like I used to before I specced into ar's. Still a viable fit in the large sockets, just awful outside though.
I would not go assault, because the only reason why I speced logi was to carry equipment, so an assault suit doesn't fill that need.

I have an assault suit, no logi suit. I can't live without a sidearm, considering I don't use assault rifles

I see no need for logi nerf, because the assault has more advantages in combat.
If a logi falls forward with assault, will defend as?
The logi gets screwed when the weapon discharged in front of the assault. The assault has the option to exchange the gun for the secondary. And the logi of the bonus armor repair ... In this bonus helps in melee combat? Anything right ..
Expect help from a bluebarry? They do not realize just defend, much less defend others ..
If so, who will use proto logi to support, to risk dying for the support bluebarrys, which does not help. In a game where everything is expensive. Died 2 times of proto not worth it, since the gain of ISK per game is scarce ...
If so, the heavy should be prohibited from using light weapons. Being that they were made to carry heavy weapons.
The dropsuit between them, are well balanced ... It is for each player to use the way you think is best ..
If in case this were to happen, I abandoned this game ..  
My God, these guys complain about everything in the game. If they fail to adapt to the game. So why play?. They know not to play, and are looking to defect to justify how bad they are ..

same here, but basically the logi is all you need atm.
Theres just no job a logi could not do or even do better than the therefore designed suit. and thats the problem, niche-roles should always own on what they are designed for, basically the similiar problem which I see with the AR.

And then if they bring down Mjolnir on logis like they did to scouts and heavies, the assault will be the best suit in the game by default. How soon before the nerf brigade continues the cycle?

However I'm honestly not sure how much I'd play at that point.
Remove time in battle from ISK payout formula and provide a bonus to winning team... Watch battles become fun again.

lol i run my amarian assault ...1 i never see a logi around if i do doesnt matter cause they suck unless i brought em with me..personally what i do to stay alive in assault....???i dunno what you mean running around in a assult suit in dust is like 1000X easier than running around in my logi suit...kill come easy like cake and speed is not an issue like it is in my logi
dont really see how assaults need logi's i mean they have an equipment slot..
hey maybe this is what ccp should do
1 remove logi nades
2 remove assault equip
3 make scouts equipment slot say scout equip and be limited to scout specific gear
4 make scanners a scout item only
5 make logi side arm only (i only add this because with no suit able to fit nanos other than logi..all will have to be glued to the logi's ass or die or run out of ammo so the fact that the logi can only defend itself in 20 m and under maybe..in a world where general ranges are 50m-600m doesnt really matter)
