Were broke everyone I know is broke lol ....you guys seriously need to let the ISK flow more freely ..its only the gawds of pc that makes the millions ...
I understand you have a business model , but Dust for me anyways has become a ISK and SP grind ...to a point where Im raging silently after every match.
I recon you need to x2 your payouts....for matches played . (BTW I hardly run proto )...
I have supported you guys generously for almost a year now and dont mind to do so in the future ......but you have to have fun otherwise whats the point ?

I don't have the big picture, but I don't see what could go wrong in a major way.
When you open the gates between two containers containing fluids, one will flood the other one if they are on the same level.
Right now EVE container is really bigger and contains a lot of fluids; Dust one's is small and is not so full.
Once the Dust one's get flooded, what would happen?
...maybe is some market buyouts I guess (if possible)...

if you did the event for the 100 falchions youll get like a 160 mil isk refund if you didnt even do that though u dnt deserve isk!
anyways idk how u can be broke, most PC corps dnt pay their members, at least not in intervals.
but most peeps tht run strictly proto dnt even lose isk doing so.
only way you can lose isk now is by running dropships, or by being one of the many douches who expect they can run tanks every match. |

I am not a high K/D player. I am not an amazingly skilled player in any way. I do not AFK. I do not spend matches running and hiding. But I am not broke. Nor am I short of fits. I mostly play in advanced suits with advanced or higher gear.

How much isk do you have?
Me, I'm at 13 mil.....dropships are deep isk pits......especially the assault dropships

Yea im also sitting at 13 mil ...I normally range between 20 mil and 30 mil give and take .......I call that broke lol !~!!!
I dont know ....just dont like aurim items on me ..if it doesnt say complex Im not a happy chappy ..So a 2 sec idea perhaps is to buy ISK with aurum ? Perhaps this might help CCP in the grander scheme of things and at the same time make the average scrub compete with the top dagws ....

Use the "Ratchet" Method:
Fix a limit, let say 1,000,000 ISK increment.
As soon as you amass 1 mil. you "lock" it. You can't use it anymore. Though, you can use any excedent (1 to 999,999 ISK) when you need to buy stuff; but you can never pick into the millions you have "ratcheted" away.
Works for me!
I use a mix of expensive and cheap suit to allow some flexibility.
I'm now at 76 millions. you can easily save 1 to 2 mil. a day using this method.

(B) average cost of a prototype suit
(C) average number of deaths (in a proto suit) per battle
They can then calculate...
D = B * C / A
which is the average number of battles in free or almost free kit required to support a battle in proto kit.
If D is greater than 1 then the average player could run prototype all the time. If it is less than 1 then they'll need to grind (or spend Aurum).
I also suspect (hope) that they have a target value for D, and are able to tune the game to keep it at that target.
Of course, this is all for the (mythical) average player. And it obviously doesn't cater for PC passive income.

I'm surprised this concept doesn't come up on the forums more often. My perception is that they intend for PRO gear to be unsustainable from pub matches alone (i.e., you can't run PRO continuously while only running pubs). But, I would like to know CCP's intent...dev blog, please!
RDVs are a failed experiment - can't we just remove them from the game?

Yea I hear you ...My biggest problem is when i get on the battlefield ..Im like a dog with rabies ...especially if its a proto stomping crew ! Sometimes I wish I had a THOR HAMMER to bust their egos !
