DUST Search - Those who held off skilling into weapons are screwed by this event

To anyone who makes the ridiculous claims "Events can't benefits everyone", I call BS

Everyone benefits from more SP

Everyone benefits from the FW rewards; even if they didn't spec into that faction's gear, they can still sell it in the future when player trading becomes an option.

Everyone could benefit from the first victory bonus event

Everyone could benefit from the latest Black Eagle event

We just have to accept that not every event will work for every person. Did the triple SP event work for you? What about the FW rewards last month? There are too many play styles and combinations to cater to them all at once, sooner or later there'll be one seemingly tailor made for you, or your brother. Not new, just new to you.

But two weeks of passives and minimal play can get you an advance weapon, its not life or death, the same argument can be have that favors certain weapons over others, particularly those that can generate a high body count, which we know is not equal among weapons. So that argument alone is not justification for a respec in my opinion, its tough to be on hold, but again, not life or death here, this doesn't make respecs necessary. Below 28 dB

All I got was us redlining Caldari every game I took part in and backhanding the Amarr into constant spawn traps. Dude it's just like banking, saving gets you nothing, you get penalised for saving money, same for SP. Apply real-world economics and ummm... OK I guess it is a video game. HTFU is something you say when someone can't handle the sandbox and cut-throat nature of the EVE universe, not something you spout like an idiot whenever someone says something you don't agree with. I know I certainly didn't benefit from that...but not every event will work for me, I know this and so should you. CCP needs our feedback to help make events that work for everyone, so I hope you've posted this in the Feedback channel along with coherent suggestions on how to improve future special events. As a side note, if absolutely none of the current weapons are good enough to invest in, what makes your brother think the new ones will be worth it? I'm not trying to be a jerk, just something to think about... Not new, just new to you.
