Infantry hates tanks.
Tankers hate losing their expensive tanks.
When a Tank is in the right situation, it will wreck an entire team. If 3 or more tanks are in a match (like... oh lets say Bear, AddictPunk, and Lopez.... because gosh forbid Nyain San ever stomp against a decent team and not just noobs) they have free reign on the battlefield and will not be stopped.
Trying to use AV against triple hardeners is so frustrating. The HAV is just going to run away (because tankers know to retreat) and come back in for another pass once he has another cycle. Plus, you're opened up to infantry assaults when you're trying to take down HAV(s).
But, when the AVer has the high ground, and the tank is in the open and his escape route isn't concealed (like he should be) the Tank pops like a balloon.
Every game is situational. sometimes, AVers are in a position where they just can't bring down a Tank, so they give up. And sometimes Tankers are in a situation where they're aren't getting off the battlefield in one piece. Especially if a HAV has a stupid blueberry in it, so the driver can't recall.
There is no defense for a FG or Swarm that has high ground. A tank can't reach them, so that in itself isn't fair, but once again it's situational.
I've walked up to HAVs and threw 3 AV grenades at them and they popped before they even knew what hit them. But, that was once again situational. The HAV driver was not being aware and was improperly fit without a scanner.
Some games, I can single handedly destroy 3 HAVs and keep a 4th one hidden behind his red line until the game is over, or he recalls. Other days, I can't make a dent on a HAV no matter what I do.
Tank drivers are naturally cowards, because they don't want to lose ISK. The good ones (like good infantry players) pick their battles. Lately, I'm not seeing HAVs get called in the beginning of matches. I'm seeing them get called in half way through when the other team is already stomped, so the tankers thinks he has a good chance of not losing his HAV. |

8213 what game are you talking about? The last few times i have seen you in a game you usually leave during the game, I still don't know why you think Nyain San is garbage
I leave maybe one game per week, son.
I forget the actual game, but you messaged me on these forums and in game tons. Then, one day, I'm on your team, and I outscored all 6 of you combined in WP and KDR... I sent you a message to pretty much give myself a high five, and I never heard from you ever again, like so many that call me out on this forum or in the game...
And Nyain San is garbage because they just exploit bed mechanics and FoTMs. Not to mention they can't even win a pub match against a a team of randoms more than 50% of the time... I don't have much against any individual in the Corp, just the Corp as a whole. |
