Who in-
Why?
Just why...
Most of the packs are consumable stuff? What in the Devil would you want a refund for?
Because your consumable items are consumed?
Because they didn't give you the advantage you wanted?
Because the game updated and now the stuff you bought isn't as effective and you didn't read patch notes?
Because you were dumb enough to buy a pack when the game is/was at it's most unstable...
Wasn't 1.5 pretty rough compared to the 1.6 we have now? Sure everyone dies faster but it's smoother and NOT ripe with glitches like 1.5. Only issue is the lag but even then most people don't experience it.
I'd hope Sony shut down everybody who are asking for refunds with faulty ass logic. |

I'm curious as to what actually got "refunded". Everything is consumable. It sound like you just begged Sony until they gave you 20 bucks to shut up and took nothing in return. I still have the Aur and BPOs and BC from a merc pack, maybe I'll whine for 20 bucks.
Jadd Hatchen wrote:And maybe we'll loose any chance of having DUST get ported over to PS4 in the future too... Every action has a consequence. On the flip-side, CCP if this is the sort of tactic your playerbase is considering in order to get satisfaction out of your game, then you may want to listen to the "wake up" call for what it is... Kinda like this was: http://www.eveonline.com/capsuleers/jita-riots/
If you want things to get better it's best not to kick a struggling game in the gut. The tactic worked in EVE because at the time it was highly profitable, and the dedicated action by the playerbase showed their rage. Not to mention this action affects Sonys attention more than CCP so it does little to motivate devs to do better and just motivates Sony to stop giving a ****, really hurting it's chances of going to PS4.
Here we have a situation where people instead of denying to pay for future stuff (in a f2p game) they want refunds. If this game is really so bad that it's worth refunding your packs by back channeling through sony, just stop coming on the forums, and stop playing. I don't mind people who don't like playing or don't like the direction it's going but it grinds my gears when they dedicate so much effort to post on the forums and play anyway.
I was always under the impression that if I spend a portion of my limited life doing something it should be worth investing in.
The Ellecon's come from a long line of Gallente. Tarn chose Peace. Tallen chose war.

This should've definitely shown my age for all those that think a buck 20 is $20. a buck 20 is $120.00.

I'm gunna try that with my Audi TT.
I bought the pack right before the new launch. Thinking it would have been a good investment. Then I had all the problems with staying in game right after the hack shut everything down for the couple of days. If you have lemons make lemonade and dust currently is a lemon slowly getting better. I might reinvest if they get their crap together. |

My thoughts exactly. I would be MORE than happy to reinvest if they would stop fixing the game, then breaking it, then fixing it, then breaking it, then pretending to fix it with a bunch of garbage, then actually fixing it but not fixing the garbage fixes they previously put in.
Fix the damn game! |

I ain't crying, got my cheese back. I'm just not going to be a push over to gaming companies for putting a product out there that isn't good. It shouldn't be a loss when it comes to product, if it's broken at the time you purchase it you return it or warranty it. That is the difference from the old school and new generation. The new generation is to willing to accept a crappy product. The break it replace it mentality. What happened to buying something that should work and last.
That was what was so good about the early gaming years. You rented the game tried it, if you liked it you bought it a patch or new release didn't break the game. PC STILL DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY, EXPLOITS, LAG, AND MORE. PC was one of the main components of this game that is broken. |

yep but besides that theres no competetion in pc, good players gather in big corps and do what they do in pub matches all day: protostomp. only differnce is in pc there challenge is to master the lag. sadlol
well, you are roght about retrurning products, but this doesnt work anymore for video-rent shops are dying thx to video on demand, and no big electronic market will take an opened game back, due to "piracy-problems" ( aka easy way to rip off customers) its not the generation which sucks, its the tricky sneaky tricks the industrie uses to **** us up

You got me wrong. I posted the link to the riots not for players' benefit, but for devs. I'm not telling players to continue to kick this game in the gut. I'm telling the devs to wake up as this is their clue just before a ****-storm like the one in EVE occurs here in DUST. Only in DUST the players aren't versed enough with how to stage something like that collectively in game, so it will be expressed by lack of numbers of players. Like the nights that keep occurring right now where the same players end up on the same maps over and over again late at night. Not enough players causes that.

YOUR MISSING THE POINT. We did NOT pay for DISPOSABLE items. We paid for PERMANENT items. You should go back to school and learn the difference. I did not LEASE the BPO's I bought them. This is only the beginning! ALL the original bpo's WILL be removed. EA games is good at robbing players.

I do live in USA. However I only play dust. I bought the pack right before the release thinking it would be similar to chromosome. However it wasn't so low in behold I had to get my money back. |

might work over there, tried in a couple of different shops in germany, they dont return unless the disc is defect/unplayable.
Selling on ebay with big loss is still profit in the wallets of crappy devs ;)
