since theres alot of dumbass people who dont understand exactly what they are buying (not CCPs fault, its yours) im going to spell it out here
you can purchase AUR, and legally speaking thats the only legal purchase you can make.
this converts legal tender into a voucher type imaginary denomination that acts as a non refundable gift cirtificate.
now AUR is the legal puchase, and so everything in the law dealing with purchases will ALWAYS be in referance to the AUR you purchase. NOT the in game items you convert AUR to.
you can then "spend" AUR on in game items and functions as you wish, but this isnt isnt covered under any legal hokum as the purshase was already made for AUR, the rest is a game mechanic.
your AUR is CONVERTED into the form of an in-game item, and in the event that item disapears then its converted back into AUR, the thing you ACTUALLY paid for.
this type of "refund" is nessesary becuase what you paid for was the AUR, NOT the in game item. and WHY you bought the AUR has nothing to do with the legal rules surrounding that AUR purchase.
so no the only thing your entitled to is the AUR, BPOS that come in the AUR packs are bonuses, they technically have no native AUR value, and buying AUR for the bonus does not somehow negate the fact that what you purchased was teh AUR and not the bonus.
BPCs are a different matter to BPOs in that the AUR converted to them upon purchase expires once the item is destroyed in the game.

Seems like fraud to me ....
its like you going to USA going into the store and buying a cirtificate for store credit.
one fo the things you can use that credit is for playtime on an in store PS4, and that was your reason for buying teh credit.
so you play the PS4 for a while but dont use all your credit on it and one day they remove the PS4s from the store and refund you your remaining credit.
now you pissed because you have store credit and nothing you originally wanted to spend it on.
but you bought store credit, NOT ps4 playtime.
your lack of understanding is illistrated in your incorrect and faulty analagy, and thats not CCPS fault, thats yours. |

So you are telling me, that CCP showed me the BPO. Convinced me to BUY AUR to BUY the BPO. And then they REMOVE BPO. And i get Stuck with AUR i dont have anything i want to buy with it. CCP Will not pay me back my $. And this is legal?
they showed you their giant store of options for what you could use store credit on, and upon uying store credit they made clear that the things in their store change over time and may not always be there, as well as new items boing made available over time.
hell you even got use of the product while it was available.
you specifically agreed to the terms of the alturnate currency before purchase, and they held up their end of that greement with the AUR refund.
no breech of contract |

I bought the BPO under the promise they would be PERMANENT. CCP used that word a lot.... A LOT.
permanant in the context as in that it is not consumable upon use in a fitting.
its a discription of its in game atribute, the BPO itself isnt a purchasable item.
you also agreed that you understood the terms of the contract. so weather or not you actually understand doesnt matter, you legally stated that you did. you lied, but thats not the point. technically by lieing and stating you understood you yourself breeched the contract. |

I dont know a lot about LEGAL stuff so i dont know why im here discussing this with you. Legal stuff is def. not my thing, im a simple Artist and i can barely understand money stuff as it is. But i got to tell you, You are not required to be Law instructed or have Economic Prowess to be entitled to BUY stuff safely and with confidence, this should be provided by the company that is SEEKING FURTHER PURCHASES from their costumers. Playing ''smart'' might make them feel smart and make some cash, but in the end, they'll ahve a game with 0 playerbase, and the smart one will be me for not spending any more time playing it...Im out.
ignorance of the law does not exempt you from the law.
every tiem you agree to a contract the company has to provide you with a copy... AKA the EULA, not their fault you diddnt read the damn thing. |

Even God forgives those who are ignorant. And yes,in some cases ignorance might save you from the LAW. And if i know this, you do too. There by you are not being completly honest with me here..... Quote:every tiem you agree to a contract the company has to provide you with a copy... AKA the EULA, not their fault you diddnt read the damn thing. Well they dont really care for people to read it , i mean its an INMENSE wall-o-text no one actually ever reads, and the sad part is; that THIS is the point of this kind of contracts.
1st Lorhak Gannarsein said he could do the same than with BPO with ISK and it would be cheap. SURE you are right, but i cant buy a STD Amarr Assault with White+ red and gold coloring now can i?
2nd If CCP want to remove BPO then they should offer something that their costumers consider worth spending their AUR on, like in my case , SP RESPECS....
god does not exsist. the law does.... and god cannot exempt the laws of man.

its not a purchase, becuase CCP doesnt sell anything.
and satisfactory is SUBJECTIVE and has no legal definition, no way to define it other then "i personally dont like it" wich isnt reasonable.
you could jsut as easily say absolutly nothing is satisfactory otherwise. |

legally CCP DOESNT sell anything.
Sony sells AUR
all your bitching and whining basically boils down to your lack of understanding of the fact that CCP doesnt actually sell anything. CCP doesnt even actually sell AUR, its sony that sells AUR |

your playing at semantics in order to try to gain ground on a subject where you legally dont have a leg to stand on.
