So what leg are you standing on?
This post here where CCP is telling you to "HURRY UP AND BUY"
https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1420895#post1420895
The fact that they made a dev post encouraging you to buy items that not a couple of months later they were going to remove. It is misleading to the customer and basically a swindle perpetrated by CCP to create a massive influx of money that had people known then that this would happen would probably not have made a purchase of AUR to buy said items. BAD BUSINESS CCP! I hope his suit has a leg and actually goes somewhere. |

They list all the modules/turrets/vehicles and nowhere on that list are LAV BPO's that you are crying about. Whoever gets your complaint is gonna **** their pants laughing at you. LAV BPOs, Vehicle Module BPOs, it makes no difference, I am exercising my legal rights as a consumer against a company that wishes to infringe upon them, by not honoring the original purchase agreement and not offering a CASH refund of equal value, of which I am legally entitled to. Guess what dumbass, you used AUR not real money to get those BPO's. You bought AUR with you real money, so your purchase agreement was for the AUR that you bought, not the BPO's. CCP is refunding the AUR for the BPO's they are removing so you are still getting what you paid your real money for. So you have no real case against them, but feel free to waste you governments time and money by turning in your complaint. Except the fact that people bought AUR to buy the BPOs because CCP made a post telling you that they were removing them from the ingame market and encouraged you to do it quick before they are gone from said market. Only to remove them after the fact which brings shady and misleading business practices into effect and this is not good for future outlook on AUR purchases. |

Magnus Amadeuss wrote:I could definately see you being able to sue them over removal of BPOs that you bought in a pack, as those packs were advertised as having that item (like the collectors edition.)
Unfortunately I don't think the same would apply for things you purchased on the marketplace. You paid for AURUM, an in-game currency. What you did with that in-game currency I think would be outside of CCP's advertised product (aurum) so I think they would be in the clear. Now if you paid like $5 directly for those BPOs, then I could see there being real problems. But the reason that some AURUM was purchased was specifically for BPOs which CCP pushed upon the playerbase in this post here. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=112962&find=unread The fact that they pushed the customer base to buy BPOs before they were "GONE FROM THE MARKET" with the promise that BPOs in your inventory would be untouched is fraud, plain and simple. Let's look at their road map now. I'm sure a judge would like to see a company pushing a product that they knew would be worthless a couple of months down the line. CCP=sheisty swindlers and frauds. |
