They are reimbursing you with AUR for however much the BPO cost with AUR.
It's legal.

Even if you made me want to RAIG the last time I played you in FW (Faqing needles...) this is stupid for both not reading the EULA, and not reading the thread.
He forget that whatever it cost in AUR was being reimbursed, therefore it is legal by the code he agreed to (The EULA).
Like I said, its legal.

That's the law.
They are reimbursing you a product of equal or greater value.
IF you buy a PS4, but then a mandatory recall comes up, so they give you 2 free PS3's, even if you didn't want it/pay for it, its legal in that you maintained the value of your purchase.

Regardless of whether you think the action is warranted, consumer protection laws are in place to allow an individual to seek redress from corporations without fear that their chance of a fair hearing would be sunk by the deep pockets and legal representation of the company involved.
Not my cup of tea, but I support the OPs intent and right to challenge this legally, regardless of the outcome. Hey, all I was doing was just saying how CCP's actions are legal, and therefore his suit will fail.
Its understandable to be upset, even if this is a bit over the line.

CCP have many notices which state the BPO is a Permanent Item, without an asterix at the side stating they could be removed. so really on all their promotional items for the bpo's like the EVE collectors edition, the daemon shottie bpo, the merc packs or the guristas bpo code tickets they are declaring the bpos as permanent items without an exemption notice which could be the way forward in a case. at least as a way to get cash back over aurum It's in both CCPs and Sonys EULA. It says that they can remove any paid item as long as they reimburse you with an item of equal or greater value. (Which in this case is the amount of AUR you originally paid for them) What... common sense!!? in this thread!!? No Way!!! B-b-but I said that too!
