Solution, vehicle only nano hives low slot module, activating it is drops a hive,enough for 3 full ressuply obly 2 can be carried And either slight buff to low slot mods or an additional slot to all/most vehicles

Don't even bother answering that question, I already know what tankers want. I don't want infinite ammo at all. I also don't want to be forced to show up at one obvious target in order to resupply. Forge guns are not nerfed by the way. When all infantry can carry nano hives (infact people complain about nanohive spam). One thing infantry has never complained about is a lack of ammunition. Also, you dont have to return to the redline in a line under fire in order to resupply. That would be unbalanced.
In each red zone you are given a supply depo that the enemy can not reach you can also recall your vehicle while deep in the redzone so your arguement doesn't really make any since. I am sure CCP will also add more depos in the redzone so if one gets blown up takers will have an alternative. If they loose there SDS then just recall =p.

more depos doesn't solve anything, ammunition regeneration does.

Sounds like vehicle users are simply going to have to become better with their shots and think more carefully about how they expend their ammo.
This way, you can cultivate better tank squads, dropship squads and the like who are skilled with the turrets.
This is merely going to force the bad vehicle users out and make the good ones even better at what they do. |

firstly some tankers take out resupply depo's to stop infantry using them to change out suits...... good to see that will change.
secondly finite ammo is a great thing, nothing more tedious than a tank spamming blaster shots next to you because they know you need to get past. |

I'm curious to see the exact mechanics of this. To be honest, this could introduce some incredibly interesting new levels of strategic play.
Questions: Can you only resupply vehicles at a supply depot? Will nanohives work? (probably not) What about new vehicle nanohive?
Will there be more supply depots after 1.7, or will their placement be changed to be behind enemy-redline-rail-snipe cover?

Vehicle rework scheduled for 1.5.... 1.6.... 1.7........

They should allow llavs to run ammo for other vehicles as a built in module. Each llav has one that relates to the race it comes from, so the shield llav resupplies rockets, and the armor one resupplies plasma rounds.
Rail rounds should be one of those things that a supply depot should only supply as they are probably going to be quite powerful, and in short supply. |
