I suppose so, but BPOs will become less relevant due to lack of supply (and they're not hugely powerful anyway) as time goes on, whereas this could be an enduring issue with high power equipment. You're going to enjoy the ISK SINK very much. I still think it's lame. There is no sense in making people grind LP and then having items that cost LP and ISK... Yet, the way to get LP gives you zero ISK. It's just silly. EVE doesn't even do this. You can make ISK as well as LP by running missions. LP is just a bonus, albeit a very small reward for a mission completed. One would think that the same company who makes EVE would also make DUST with similar mechanics... If you look at the needle it looks very Gallente in Nature and even fits into Gallente Ideology of maximum efficiency with minimal loss of life. I know Gallente and Caldari are proficient in Nanite Technology just as they are in Hybrid weapons but even then Caldari have Hybrid Railguns and Gallente have Hybrid Blasters The Caldari having Nanites and Nanohives is strange (even when a Gallente Company manufactures 1 nanohive, the Allotek Nanohive)

Example: Caldari have a Rep Tool even though Rep tools are supposedly Minmatar in nature. Gallente have a Uplink (which makes sense because of the four empires Amarr and Gallente are the most advanced) Minmatar make a nanite Injector So I'm guessing we will see more equipment in the LP market so one side doesn't completely get everything.
