Except that a skilled complex heavy armor repairer actually repairs at a faster rate than the natural shield regeneration of the Gungglogi. I believe its 181 HP/s compared to the 165 that the shield tank can output, and that's 100% of the time, where shields are subject to recharge delay. While a 4 second delay is not very long, there are some very basic tactics that can thwart that.
The point of the matter is that while shield tanks can do a single boost with a long cooldown, they're incapable of handling sustained fire which makes them very poor against infantry at close range. Also I think you're misreading the Shield Hardeners, they reduce damage by 40%, not 60%. Armor hardeners reduce by 60%, last longer, and cool down faster.

Yes you are absolutely correct. With the proposed setup, Shield vehicles are exceptionally susceptible to burst damage like a forge gun.

Honestly you should be more worried about Large Missile turrets. If they behave as the Dev table imply, they're going to be completely terrifying.

Armor hardeners reduce by 60%, last longer, and cool down faster. actually dude the damage modifier on gunlogis is 0.4 meaning that any damage received will be multiplied by 0.4 thusly giving 60% resists as the tank will only absorb 40% of the damage.
Honestly I actually originally agreed with you, though it seems general perception is that the shield hardener is 60% reduction, so I'm rather unsure at this point. I'm going to go off the assumption that the modifier value they're using is calculated the same way they do in EVE, so I'll need to double check that sometime so on.
