Now all CCP needs to do is ad a data dump like in EvE and add an api so programmers can really get their hands dirty.

Just tried it a few seconds ago. It works fine for me. Because this tool is still under construction it can be that some parts will not run as mentioned. Maybe it helps if you clean your browser cache.
Consider too, that if several people use guest accound that there could be some side effects which I do not check.

Seems like a good start. I noticed that the skill planner seems to be missing a bunch of (all of?) the weapon reload skills though. Also, it took me a while to figure out how the skill planner UI worked. Requiring double clicks is somewhat unintuitive for a web interface.

The wrong skill level is needed to unlock Minmatar scout. you have to go to level 5 in Minmatar Light Dropsuits when it should only require level 3.

I like how you have the suits separated by class, but you should look into a sub-separation category to separate the suits by race as well. That way folks won't need to scroll through the Assault variants to find the Minmatar Proto Assault suits (for example) and for those of us who are lazy and don't want to use Ctrl+F.
The latter being a joke. |

Edit #2: went back through it because something wasnt adding up and you are missing Shotgun rapid reload
Both skills exist in the database and are visible in the table. Remember either to have the parent skills leveled or press the Show all skill button in the upper left corner to display all skills.

Not sure if that is possible so fast, because the items are organized in a tree structure.

I like it alot, and thank you very much.
So far I encountered an error into the minmatar scout skill tree, it needs minmatar light dropsuit skill to 5 before unlocking minmatar scout, whereas it should be lvl 3, if I am not totally mistaken..
and keep up the work..
and btw do some workout, and you'll maybe feel younger and be able to come down from that sniperhills !  |

Would like to ask if you're interested in having similar capabilities, i.e. exporting and importing fittings, to allow interoperability between tools, and what format(s) you'd prefer to use?

other than the new skill layout, ( rail rifle, Combat rilfe, new vehicle tree setup) it is missing the commando suit for the amarr heavys
it also auto applys minmatar LAV role 1 to level 3 on skills for me, as well as minmatar dropship
as well as in you skill tree it requires prof 3 on weapons for rapid reload, and those are skills available at level 2 operation and have a x3 modifier not an x7
sorry to be pointing out so many minor mistakes
...Yeah, i use a heavy machine gun, and I think i do a Damn good job at it.

Implemented Skill Tree Version V1.7 finally. CCP announced more skills and my pre-work was useless because they changed their mind in some cases. E.g. a lot of announced Vehicle Command Skills did not arrived.
Because of this and my Chrismas business madness, it took a while to change the skill tree.
Website will support only V1.7 skill tree, all Skill-Planner-Database-Entries are wiped.
Still more to come ...

Of course I am interested in any cooperation --> you have a cool site!
My website runs with MYSQL database, best way to change data imho is a XML structure though XML is supported by JavaScript.

New update on my website to get a feeling what the next steps will be:
I have started with the dropsuit data table - now the field value will change if the influencing skills were set in the skill planner table.
I loaded up a screenshot.
If you put the mouse cursor over the skill name it should show a descripting what effects this skill has.
Actually not every possible skill is changing the data.
I am still working on it and have to redesign database table too.
Any comments are welcome.
