All your comment does is prove that the only way to stop it is to make it so that you can't do it, you refuse to acknowledge what is a serious problem leading to such poor player retention that is stopping the game progressing.
You are clearly a griefer who would rather ruin the game for new players than actually have a challenging match against players of a similar gear level
If I was as pathetic as you and played games solely to get easy wins rather than play a game to be challenged and work for a win then I'd just go out and buy myself a trophy that says 'I win' on it and be done with it

Let me just say, I feel for ya. I used to be just like you. But the thing is I never expected the higher SP players to be babysitters. Calling someone who is more experienced with more time invested and more skill than you a griefer is ridiculous and pretty funny too. As they say around here, HTFU. And as others have said. The challenge of this game isn't killing dumbass redberries. it's killing more dumbass redberries than your buddies.

I have 19m SP and 416m ISK I have full access to proto gear however I actually have some level of skill and don't feel the need to rely on proto in pub games to do well .. honestly it is laughable that you think doing well in proto gear in pubgames makes you better than someone who does well in ANY GEAR in pub games.
My complaints aren't because it is happening to me anymore, my complaints are that it is severely hurting DUST 514 .. it is a game that I enjoy playing and people like you are sending this game to its grave .. there is a reason the current matchmaking isn't workign and that is predominantly down to the size of the playerbase ... and it isn;t increasing and is infact on a gradual decline over the past 6 months
Honestly you're basically complaining that new players shouldn;t have anywhere or anything else to do other than being protostomped by you in pubgames, seriously do you have any idea how destructive that mentaility is on a F2P MMO ?
Throwing a new born baby in the sea and then saying HTFU is irresponsible as is throwing new players to the wolves on this game and saying HTFU ... you are just being unreasonable

2. As somebody else has understood .. the point I was making is that somethings are wrong and you shouldn't be so immature as to need an outside force to physically stop you being able to do it !

1. They aren't facts they are your opinions, you have no evidence to back up your statements and are merely making presumptions.
2. I am using them as examples, I am not directly saying that they are the same thing i'm taking an extreme scenario to emphasise a point .. being thrown to the wolves is a common metaphor and isn't meant to be taken literally .. sheesh I never thought I'd have to explain that to someone

The problem is protostomping in every single gamemode .. there has to be somewhere for new players to go that isn't just a pen for slaughter by the guys using proto .. is it really that difficult for you to understand ? This is a game .. there has to be something fun for everyone who plays to do and right now the fun is confined to 5% of the population crushing the other 95%
4. No one blames Proto gear for every problem or death in this game that's just you expressing a daft opinion with nothing to back the statement up

I already know based on your history on these forums that all you do is troll and you clearly either are too ignorant to see the actual problem with protostomping or are just trolling and either way it is pointless to continue discussing the issue with you any further so I bid you adieu

So true. People who claim that this kind of analogy is valid are fools. Kicking someones butt in a videogame is in no way relate to real life. Way to mix the arguments up ... the reason people complain about protostomping in pubgames is that it's the easy thing to do .. it avoids the concept of being challenged .. if these guys wanted a challenge why would they run their most expensive gear against less skilled and less geared players ???? Surely they'd be doing PC/FW against better skilled and better geared opponents but no .. they go to the 1 place new players go to learn and play the game to get easy kills

I have the money to use the best gear. I know the risks of using the best gear. So I use it. What's wrong with that? If CCP takes away the ability to Protostomp, the game will no longer be fun. Honestly, I'd rather fight Protostompers (had some relatively close matches against TP and AE in FW lately) and actually have a challenge than completely redline someone.
No one has said to remove it entirely from the game .. just give something .. anything that players can do to avoid it if they do so wish eg PVE
Alot of the complaints would die down if you could just up and leave a protostomp and go do some PVE instead
Right now the only real way to avoid it is to simply not play the game ..which is why the player numbers have been on a gradual decline over the past 6 months

Played PC since it started, ring regularly. Guess what, not enough business to go around. Go into FW, and lo! there before me is a whole sea of complete bums, red line sniping at the start of the match, never capping a flag, zerging out of a cru into a spawn camp. Because they screw up my attempt to not play pubs, I then proceed to head into the pubs to make my money back. Scrubs will die no matter what they wear, and bargain players trying to eke out ISK will get what they paid for. Every time I see a MLT or STD suit in FW, I proceed to play 10 pubs in full proto just to make you cry. Now go spread the gospel amongst the other cowards and crybabies to stay in pubs, and never venture into FW. Then maybe, once I no longer have to deal with idiots who don't actually play to win, I will stay out of pubs.
I can use full proto and if you do that then instead of me using proto in FW, if you are on my team I will switch out into militia and spin around in the mcc
What you plan on doing wont affect me in the slightest but will affect potential new players joining the game who could well have been the very guys stood along side you fighting
New players do FW to try and get away from the protostomps in pubgames .. which you then decide to do because they take part in FW ... only an idiot would continue to take part in this cycle through choice and then complain about the end result lol
I love how me posting on an alt and saying there's a problem results in the same scrubs telling ME to HTFU and deal with it when I'm not the one on the end of the stomping lol

1.A few weeks = 5 weeks of capping out just for a proto suit and that isn't taking into account the proto mods, passives that you need to actually make the suit viable so your actually talking about 10m sp + .. which is longer than a few weeks and more like 4 months
2.Throwing players just out of the academy against protosquads of experienced players who then proceed to slaughter them over and over and over and over and over and over and over again for the 4 months minimum it will take to get to that level is what causes new players to quit .. people don't mind putting the time in if they can at least have some fun .. being killed repeatedly on an FPS game is not fun
3. If a new player sees someone using the same gear as them and doing well they will think, 'o.O that guy is in the same gear as me and did great .. if I keep playing and get better maybe I can do that good too' .. incentivised to play more .... when they see guys in proto gear doing well and realise that it will take 4 months to get on that level and they'll have to continue getting slaughtered until then makes them think 'Can I really put up with this for 4 months and do nothing else but get slaughtered by these guys ?' The answer to this is usually .. No .. if a game isn't fun what reason is their to play it ?
It seems to me alot of peopel actually forget that a game is supposed to be 'fun' and this HTFU, Get Good, Welcome to New Eden attitude is moronic .. if a game isn't fun people simply wont come and play it
I want this game to succeed and it wont if it continues on the path it's on .. new players are like children .. without them ... eventually our race of mercs will die ..
