Let me tell you a secret. Gallente assault is the worst assault in the game. Gallente Logi is the best SUIT in the game, not even the best logi.
Now shove your anti armor bull crap up your ass and tell CCP to nerf logis. I can't fit armor AND damage mods on my assault, I have less armor than most Caldari have shields on my suit. My Logi however, can fit both ridiculous amounts of armor, and have regen, and have 3x complex damage mods.
Shields are for short term skirmishes, get in, get out, regen, get in. Armor is to stand your ground, and die on that ground.
If you try to do any of that with the non proper tank, you will faill terribly.

Armor was also buffed, as it was incredibly underpowered. You know what the buff was? +20hp to all plates, and slightly less speed. That's it. Seriously.

However, AR doing +10% and SCR doing +20% turns the tide enough.

Lower if we actually use more than one damage mod. (Which Caldari can already do without losing too much)

"Regen don't do ****" I concur, 50 hp/s on my Caldari Assault is really useful. Go behind cover, get 50hp/s for 4 seconds, pop out and destroy surprised enemy.

Shields get -20% resistance, so it's 120 damage against shields~ Armor gets +20% resistance, so it's 80 damage against armor~ 500 shields / 120 = 4.1 500 armor / 80 = 6.25 At the fire rate of those, that means the difference is almost impossible to notice inside battle.

So instead of nerfing automatic weapons right away, what if they brought back shields to what they were first? I use a sg mostly and knives an I recently switched from minmatar to gallente scout, an the ttk difference is still fast but it totall stands a WAY better chance than a minmatar scout.
But before the armor and shield change of power, my mini could last way longer than it does now, plus it's seems like there is no fall off damage difference , 50+ meter s hits me while I'm running an drops me like I'm standing still, gallente how ever stands a better chance at escape an I imagine this is similar with all suits.
So if they brought the shield strength back would this be the ttk solution, before weapons are beaten by the nerf hammer? I'm a minmatar assault. you're over-reacting.
