I see you above me on the boards at the end going 37-3....45-8...3-2 but with 2000 wp's for bringing the only Uplink...
I always wondered who you really are...now we have a place...
next time you're bored, make an Alt for some Academy Stomping...
next time you get tired of being stomped, make an Alt for some Academy Stomping...
meet others like you, share tips and ideas....
make an Alt and join up...let him sit and gain SP and then stomp....
I mean why let the new guys think it's all happy and fair for 1-3 matches before they get stomped...?
Let's get them used to the stomp early cause that's what they are in for anyway....
so make one up, join so the newbs know that they got got by a pro.....
(no tax...send any money made back to your main)

I think the Academy solution is to make it an entirely different game. Lock everything except MLT gear, have a list of things you must complete before graduating (i.e.- hack 10 objectives, get 5 kills with turrets, get 5,10,15 kills in one match, spam 498,333,491 grenades in a single match, etc)
Basically, make it a demo version of DUST(keep the Beta jokes aside) with checkpoints. Upon completion, then you truly enter New Eden where you are in a world of infinite destruction, wealth, and power... |

I like this idea.
The only issue is there will inevitably be vet's/trolls stomping the f*** out of this type of game mode by not throwing that last grenade, never going near a hack, never manning a turret, never running/deploying equipment ect... to continue stomping in the academy indefinitely. |

Won't fix the problem, if people are stomping in the Academy they are out after 1 match. If they can't clear the Academy after 1 match, they probably need to stay there.

Only problem here is people could hang around in the Academy forever, making the stompings even worse. The Academy is all but meaningless, and should probably just be removed. A quick MAG-esq tutorial mode would be best, in my opinion. Either that or make all Academy money non-transferable, and upon leaving the Academy you get all but your original 250k ISK wiped out (give the option to spend money on equipment before leaving the Academy for good). Maybe even increase the time it takes to terminate a clone. |

The only way to remotely fix this, is for Ccp to stop any alt from a vet's PSN account from entering academy. Of course, it won't stop anybody from making a new account to get in there. If someone keeps creating new accounts just to troll the academy, they probably got a lot more problems than just being a trolling d-bag. I feel sorry for them.:-(
Great job, team. Head back to the MCC for debriefing and cocktails.

No different to players leaving the academy and being slaughtered 1-10 + because the other team has a squad of protostompers on it
The only difference between stomping the academy and stomping pub games is ... the 1/2 games it takes to be kicked from the academy into the stomping in pubgames

I made one just to check out the tutorials and then give feedback on it. Once I was done with that, I deleted my alt. Kinda liked those Minmatar starter suits. Especially how they're different in terms of modules. My Gallente starter feel boring since all of them have the same modules. |

The way I see it, he is bringing to light a critical issue that should have been resolved in ******* beta testing. But, of course, CCP can't be bothered. Wouldn't be too surprised if they thought players just could not wait to get stomped and HTFU |

I always felt bad about going back into the Academy when I make an alt for specific purposes. Unlike the majority of the scrubs that go back there, I actually don't fire a single shot. Militia Repair Tool, Militia Nanohives, pure non-violent approaches to completing the academy and boosting the moral of the new bloods.

All I can say is I made an alt to check out the new tutorial stuff. 1 game in the academy I went 42-0 with plasma cannon. I felt so dirty afterwards I vowed to be nice to 42 blueberries to make up for the bad karma. But it was pretty fun too. Whatever. it's a video game. Have fun with it.

Last time I did to I went 54/0 with a solo precision strike. It was beautiful nobody in the academy knows what an orbital OR an enforcer tank is so it's a double whammy. I'll start up an alt and let passive do it's thing.
