The time it takes me to kill an ar user with a freedom, that person will have shreded my ass 15 times... Although I can kill entire packs of enemies at the same time (flux+fmd+pack of reds = +50+50+50+50+50) its just so satisfying too.
My point is, those two weapons can't be compared.

Confused that so many people seem to think this was meant seriously.
Yeah the DPS on the SCR is so out of whack, it seems to dominates every other weapon at short and medium range. It probably does need adjustment. Maybe make its performance more 'peaky' - high damage drop off below 20-30 metres or something like that. |

I go back all the way to the lan doom, Quake deathmatch days, sold my soul to Wolfenstein 3D and bought a 286 20mhz pc to play it on, later upgraded it with an 8-bit mono SoundBlaster Card /gasp...le hightech!
Even played Duke Nukem 3D tournament with just Keyboard Only, i was like ....why are all these f*ckers using a mouse thats for Windows... ??? /LooksPuzzled ....oh ...they can aim with it ....F*CK....and still got Second Place :p using pageup & down to aim.

I'm sorry guy, I love chatting with you on here, but... the super tracking ScR with lol-1-shot-charge-kill on most suits, and a weapon that just has to be fired twice in someone's general direction to kill them? Requiring more skill than a Gallente AR?
No offense intended, but that just makes no sense to me. I've used all of the above and then some, and the only real skill weapons in this game that I can see are the scrambler pistol (ADS is too slow), the flaylock pistol (broken), nova knives (needs a buff), and MAYBE the burst AR if you really push it (just got pushed back into semi-usefulness after the 1.6 patch hit detection updates).
But if the ScR and MD give you a challenge, more power to you I suppose. I see both as requiring the same skill LEVEL as an AR, they just require you learn the skill set and playstyle needed to operate them. So yeah... if you've not toyed with them as much as the AR.... I suppose I can see the challenge there. Your adapting to a whole new playstyle, which therefore causes you to endure more of a challenge.... in which case...

Madlax is currently working at Mastering his SCR-FU, i played his character for one evening couple of nights ago to show what you can do with it, while not using the Amarr Suit and very limited SCR skills as opposed to my skills all being at V, and i got pretty much the same scores as if i would be playing with my own character.
He's now a converted believer after i went 40+ with his Caldari Assault, Imperial SCR and just one skill at V. (i got 2 PS3's so at my house and he lives 10 minute drive away) :)
Revoltz Dude!!! ....not funny getting gunned down by that Toxin AR & SMG Combo, in your hands it felt just like getting nailed by a Duvolle, those matches with 2 Spectres vs 6 rainbows really takes out all my focus and leaves me drained for half an hour, but it sure is an Awesome Awareness Workout from Hell.
Curses you for escaping me that one time with like 4 armor left :p (I am pretty sure you let go a diabolical laugh at your screen and performed a fistpump)

Holy KITTENS! That's ridiculous, just tapping R1 15 bullets into firing will have a similar effect though, its get rid of recoil pretty fast.
