Why are some tankers talking about such thing as "honor" (hounor)

Running Gunlogies has taught me to use every single moment when the enemy is weak, though it took me a couple of rushes head on on a madrguar to figure out it's not happening. But ocasionally I get a message saying that I would have lost is it was 1v1 even though it was but the guy was busy shooting a CRU. I know, I know : ''who gives a damn as long as he blows up and you survive'' but I still wanted to ask. Is tanking only about who has the best fitted madrugar?

This way if they go up against another tank, I hop out and help out. Honor is overratted, winning the battle is what matters. I guess I should fit a repper too, that way I could be the ultimate tank buddy. an easy fix to Matchmaking

There is no such thing as honour, I learnt that back in dark souls by placing a thousand Great Scythes up the assholes of people who tried to duel, spam, or glitch their way to victory. You only ever occasionally can beat a Maddy in a straight up fight, but if you needle it enough, wound his pride then like all armour tank he will get super aggressive...like I tend to do.... and right when he thinks he is safe....he makes his slip up. I am running the same fitting I had when I had a bit under a mill. And I would say that a properly fit Soma could take on a Gunlogi (a bad one). BTW I can relate - nothing is better than killing a maddy with a sica :)
