There is no equipment slot, & barely enough cpu to fit a complex Shield extender. & technically it's not 2 light weapon slots. If you try & replace the AR, you can only put a side arm. |

I think it's more a novelty item than anything else. Even the competition itself is a lop-sided challenge and shouldn't viewed as anything more than a fun thing to do. If you attempt the challenge you'll end up with less suits than you started with, unless you are some kind of uber-scout-god... if you don't do the challenge, you'll end up with more suits than those that attempted it seeing as the KDR is quite high for you to get another suit.

For an additional factor, the Black Eagles suits have more native shield HP, faster stamina recover and faster walk and sprint speeds when compared to a standard Scout G/1. Slap some better grenades and shield extender and it could be decent.

Yo this suit is pretty nasty, not sure why all the hate. Can't tell you how many times I'm running with a shotty out and someone spots me and starts shooting from across the map. Now I can get behind cover and pull out my AR instead of my short ranged SMG. I like this if it's the direction scouts are going in. Though, I think I'd prefer more hp or an extra equipment slot over two light weapons. |

Seems sound in theory, if not for the fact that winning a fight often comes down to what's in one's Highs and Lows.
I'd much prefer to run a fit that's decent in one role rather than poor in two roles.

I'm not a dedicated scout, I just have fun using my Dren scout suit every now and then but I think anything they do would be an improvement. Two lights gives more versatility hopefully this would just be the standard version with the advanced and proto getting some low slots. But yeah I'd just give scouts HP if it were up to me. |
