Thanks to a vid i saw the other day i noticed a odd detail in its operation and went out to test the weapon myself,apparently you can cancel the long overheat animation with the SCr with afew very subtle buttons presses,negateing te overheat and keep firing as norm untill you have to reload.
CCP please fix this |

well no sh*t... do you actually expect them to answer to stuff they don't have a clue about on how to fix? How would they look like heroes that care about what we think if they did that? |

Yes i do,acknowledging a problem is the first step to the soluation and not the solution it's self,I wasnt excepting to hear a fix just a little post saying "Yeah we know we're on it" on the issue. |

If they animated the finger and forced players to press the trigger all the way down to fire....
But no, HALO era fixes are much less important than graphics that nobody but heavies and DS pilots have the time to look at.

Tested this with the laser rifle. It overrides it, but when you fire it you can hold the fire button down forever, but causes no damage. You can switch to your sidearm however.
