The lost art of spraying your AR because you can't keep your ADS on an opponent because you suck, hence the reason you play DUST in the first place. Anyone who does the strafe is an outdated scrub. The strafing pattern doesn't work against anyone who isn't a noob. Even randoms patterns still leave you into ambush shots. Its like playing Space Invaders from back in the day. The last alien would go back and forth on the screen really fast, all you had to do was lead it and shoot it and let it run right into your shot. Human's a creatures of pattern, so predicting the pattern the DUST Dancer will do is simple. But a good player doesn't get into head on gun fights if he can help it.
Best defense against an SCR (from the people who beat me) is Gallente Brick (because it's weak against armor) and if you get them to over heat, you have a 4-5 second window of them being unarmed to destroy them. Also, if you're behind cover against an SCR and there is more than 5m between you, don't bother coming out. He has a charged shot volley waiting for you. Take cover and come at him again from a different position, or simply leave the fight and give him one less kill to get.
No shame in picking your battles. You think the top players in this game got there by taking all comers on equal terms? |

The fact they have a scope allows for them to have better aim than an iron sight for example look at the LR how much better it is now it has a scope. The ScR in the right hands is far more deadly than an AR, that is why so many are using them. Those who lose to an AR are either bad at the weapon or the AR user is that much better.
