i know that it is tough, but im trying to lighten to an already dying community. i've spent hours countless hours testing these fits and making this thread to try to give a beacon of hope that we aren't completely unusable. i'm trying my best here.

So am I. I just wanted to lighten the mood.

I know us scouts and heavies can stay strong until the update that will hopefully put them in their place.

But I just feel so dirty and scrubbish when I use my medium frame with a Duvolle and Cores. Heck I was actually in a match where I was gonna annihilate everything with a Duvolle and post the stats on the forums. Until Shotty and a bunch of other scouts came. I refused to test my duvolle because of all the heavies and scouts thier. It would have just been an instant win button for me. Heck even having the vanilla duvolle in my assets make me feel dirty.

But i digress, hopefully we will be saved from the madness and low TTKs of COD514.

Your fits do sound good though. I can't wait to go test them when I log in.

For consideration.

I run two advanced fits on my Minmatar scout, a runner and a hunter.

One note, I'm running an AR as main on both, so replace the light weapon with your weapon of choice. I'm only skilled to advanced with the AR, sniper rifle and swarm launcher, so my options are limited.
That said, AR to the back of the head followed up by a couple of shots from the KLO will drop almost anything, and do so from a safe distance

Runner:
Long distance scout for getting to objectives off the bat, dropping uplinks behind enemy lines, and taking objectives behind the line of scrimmage. Avoid installations and take the long way around, and you can rack up alot of WP with minimal risk, while also helping direct the flow of battle by opening up options for your team to spawn to.

Shield extender
Shield energiser
Cardiac regulator (run longer, not faster)
Enhanced profile dampener (always)
GEK AR + KLO scrambler pistol + grenades
R9 drop uplink (so you can have 2 active simultaneously)

Hunter:
Semi-hardened scout with a scanner for hunting down red-dots. Normally only pull this out if I'm running with a squad to maximise the benefit of active scanning, or if there's a smaller facility on the map where the dots will end up concentrated.

Shield extender
Shield energiser
Enhanced reactive plate (for passive armor recovery)
Enhanced profile dampener (always)
GEK AR + KLO scrambler pistol + grenades
Quantum active scanner (for 16 seconds of vision)

Scouts are dead, i know this as i managed to flush my minmatar scout suit down the merc toilet just this morning.

I feel you are over exaggerating.

Except scouts. You guys have so much honor running the most pointless suit in the game, that most anything you guys say usually is taken seriously.

I prefer active scanner, 3 complex shields, 2 complex kin cats, and the CRG-3. Then slap on the GN-13 Flaylock if you need more damage

Hello's. I have a fitting for you to try and tell me what you think. Though I'm not sure if you will have the specs laying around its only 9.5kish isk per fitting and seems to play well for me.



Valor-g1 scout suit (or equivalent. Is basic level gallente scout suit. I think the dren has the exact same stats as this suit...)
Basic Plasma cannon (Sounds dumb but hear me out)
Klo advanced pistol
Flux grenades
Enhanced profile dampener
Enhanced armor plates (Couldn't fit the enhanced ferro and after playing a while I can navigate well enough around cover to deal with the slight speed drop. Plus my skills compensate for it. )

This is my kit I've been falling to 90% of the time now. I only play with a few friends in my corp unless I have work early and have a few matches before. This fitting I find to be very effective when played as hit and run or supporting a squad. Use your plasma cannon at mid to short range when its loaded or to mop up if your pistol cant handle whats in front of you. Using these simple tactics I can take out most anything up to a standard tank. Militia still tend to die but anyone running some resistance tends to need several rounds n target from the cannon to do anything worthwhile. Its very satisfying to see a proto go down from a hit to the chest from that cannon.

Next stop is plasma cannon proficiency 3-4 and range amplification for more situational awareness
