TranquilBiscuit ofVaLoR DROID EXILES 524	Posted - 2013.11.12 03:33:00 - [1] - Quote Hello all of my merc friends (and enemies) for those of you that dont know, i am a full time scout, and i'm not half bad at it. i'm also the (self proclaimed) King of Biscuits. Welcome to my emporium of scout fittings, where i have basic, advanced and proto fittings to share with all of you! it will be updated regularly as i discover more viable fittings to use in combat. i'm also open to suggestions, and will add them to my emporium, with the creator's permission of course. sure, the scout suits gimped, and sure the Assault Rifle is...very potent... but i'm here to give a glimpse of hope by sharing my experience, fittings, and tactics on how to still own even if the odds are stacked against you. We'll start with the basic suits. these will be standard suits that will have no proto gear equipped to them. the highest it will go is advanced equipment, that way even newbies can try them out. Next will be advanced, which may or may not use proto gear, but likely won't. for vets or average players to try. Finally will be proto. these will be the suits that people will learn to fear you in. these will be you"time to get serious" fits, whether it be destroying brick tanked logis or simply being nearly unkillable. Bonus: LOLofficerweaponfittings. these fits will contain officer gear, though i can only use one officer weapon and soon to be two. i can use the Wolfman's PCP-30 Scrambler Pistol and soon the Cala's Mk-33 Submachine Gun. Finally, it will be separated by the 2 races: Minmatar and Gallente. Note: these are only fits that i see as viable, so i will not add fits that i haven't been able to use effectively I think i've kept you waiting long enough, so let's jump into it. Minmatar Basic Cheap Tank-ish Shotgun Shotgun or whatever weapon that you fancy Basic Submachine Gun or Scrambler Pistol 2 Basic Armor Plates 1 Basic or Enhanced Shield Extender this fit is just a cheap throwaway scout suit that is mainly used for ambush. you'll likely die quite a bit with this fit, but if used correctly, then you'll also get a lot of kills. don't engage enemies, especially ARs head on. you are a scout and will be killed before you can blink if you do this. EVEN BY A MILITIA AR El Cheapo Dual Sidearms Basic Scrambler Pistol or Submachine Gun Basic Scrambler Pistol or Submachine Gun Basic or Enhanced Kinkat(though this is quite an sp sink) Basic or Enhanced Armor Plate Basic or Enhanced Shield Extender Locus Grenade or M1 Locus Grenade Nanohive or Compact Nanohive Dual Sidearms is something that i've been experimenting with quite often recently. mainly on proto suits, but it can be viable on basic fits as well. follow the flanking tactics as you normally would, only this time you have more range than a Shotgun, so use that to your advantage. flank the enemy but stay behind cover and pick off guys from behind. if spotted, then run away immediately, unless you want to be killed. mainly used for ambush. Advanced The Am-asian Scout Shotgun K5 Specialist Shotgun Basic Submachine Gun Complex Kinetic Catalyzer(very large sp sink) Enhanced Armor or Reactive Plate 2 Basic or 1 Enhanced Shield Extender M1 Locus Grenade optional Nanohive or Compact Nanohive now that you've got the skills to use Kinetic Catalyzers, its time to doing what the Winmatar Scout was meant to do. Hit and Run. Again, start by flanking your enemy, only this time, its a bit more fast paced. you can utilize your speed to close in on enemies, making your Shotgun more effective. just remember, if you jump into a crowd of enemies, you only have a few seconds before someone notices you and starts taking action, so get in and get out. A well cooked grenade is your best friend when it comes to taking out multiple enemies quickly or to rid yourself of someone chasing you. Prototype How is He Running So Fast!?!? K5 Specialist Shotgun 3 Complex Shield Extender 2Complex Kinetic Catalyzers if core skills are maxed Basic Submachine Gun or Scrambler Pistol this is one of the main fits you'll see me running. you have 400 ehp and run at almost 10.5 m/s. this is the Jesus of hit and run. with practice, you'll be able to get in, kill a few guys, and get out before dinner. Even aim-assisted ARs will have trouble with you. you have become the hunter. now claim your victims . even though you are fast (REALLY fast) you are not invincible. you can still be killed rather easily if you get too cocky, so pick your battles and remember the scout's number one rule: flank. Viziam Shotgun (How Painful...) Viziam Scrambler Pistol K5 Specialist Shotgun 2 Complex Shield Extenders Basic or Enhanced Shield Extender Complex Kinetic Catalyzer Enhanced Armor Plate Compact Nanohive to those of you who dont understand the title, "How Painful" is a reference to an old game called Power Stone on the Sega Dreamcast. another fit i run quite often. excellent at close to mid-range combat. if they get too close, then they will taste your Shotgun, if they try to backpedal, then they will get mouthful of Viziam. Heck I was actually in a match where I was gonna annihilate everything with a Duvolle and post the stats on the forums. Until Shotty and a bunch of other scouts came. I refused to test my duvolle because of all the heavies and scouts thier. It would have just been an instant win button for me. Heck even having the vanilla duvolle in my assets make me feel dirty. But i digress, hopefully we will be saved from the madness and low TTKs of COD514. Your fits do sound good though. I can't wait to go test them when I log in. I can't wait to go test them when I log in. thanks, and no worries, i have PLENTY more where that came from. i know what you mean. i used my GEK-38 for one match, and felt terrible afterwards. i was still in a scout suit, but it was so easy. i went 21-2 without even trying... One note, I'm running an AR as main on both, so replace the light weapon with your weapon of choice. I'm only skilled to advanced with the AR, sniper rifle and swarm launcher, so my options are limited. That said, AR to the back of the head followed up by a couple of shots from the KLO will drop almost anything, and do so from a safe distance Runner: Long distance scout for getting to objectives off the bat, dropping uplinks behind enemy lines, and taking objectives behind the line of scrimmage. Avoid installations and take the long way around, and you can rack up alot of WP with minimal risk, while also helping direct the flow of battle by opening up options for your team to spawn to. Shield extender Shield energiser Cardiac regulator (run longer, not faster) Enhanced profile dampener (always) GEK AR + KLO scrambler pistol + grenades R9 drop uplink (so you can have 2 active simultaneously) Hunter: Semi-hardened scout with a scanner for hunting down red-dots. Normally only pull this out if I'm running with a squad to maximise the benefit of active scanning, or if there's a smaller facility on the map where the dots will end up concentrated. Shield extender Shield energiser Enhanced reactive plate (for passive armor recovery) Enhanced profile dampener (always) GEK AR + KLO scrambler pistol + grenades Quantum active scanner (for 16 seconds of vision) o7

Its very satisfying to see a proto go down from a hit to the chest from that cannon. Next stop is plasma cannon proficiency 3-4 and range amplification for more situational awareness Dont knock it till you try it ^^ ~Rin

Its my main that wont let me log in on this site >< But yes you has permission. Plasma cannon takes a little bit of practice to get but it gives laughs at least. Had a heavy stare at me point blank earlier while it was reloading. Couldnt help but fire. Killed myself but that proto kit went down too so I had a huge grin on for it.

Let them reach their objective (preferably facing away from your location) and then sprint after them. Shotgun to the back of the head fells most anyone in one or two shots. Multiple enemies/tanked heavies can be taken out with the RE. I begin each battle with this suit, but with an uplink in place of the REs. If I'm lucky enough to have a supply depot nearby, I'll then switch to the same suit but with a compact nanohive (mainly for emergency healing...if you survive long enough) and drop it somewhere nearby, before finally setting my REs. Obviously, this suit is very low in EHP (250 or so) but is relatively cheap (under 20k, I believe.) The whole point is funneling the enemy to where you want them to go--if there's a CRU nearby, place two REs on the sides farthest away from you and save the last one either for the node or behind a wall that you can lure an enemy towards if you're spotted. You then need to have the patience to lie in wait and spring your trap. A typical match (assuming you're protecting the node closest to your MCC) may only result in 5 or 6 kills...but oftentimes you'll be the only one standing between the enemy and an unchallenged hack. And for the love of God, if there's a blaster turret nearby, be sure to keep it alive! A turret springing to life is a great way of letting you know that the fun is about to start:) Life is killing me.
