This game's current skill tree takes years to complete, so just cap out for the next few years every week. Or run Omegas non-stop.
If your weapon is changed drastically, then just HTFU and deal with it.
Live with your choices, even if those choices won't be the same choices you make in the future.
Doesn't really seem logical does it? You don't play EVE you don't get to say things like that as if you do. Fact of the matter is, without new content and a respect to get into that content that should have been in the game from the outset of release....I'm done with this game, stale, boring, and not particularly balanced as it is.
I could HTFU but the hard truth is I don't have fun playing dust anymore and I could be having much more fun playing something like Bf4 which despite not having the logistics I love in Dust atleast is a well made shooter.

Then dust players should not be so entitled as to think the same precedents as in EVE apply to them. It would be far easier to train the use of assault rifles that the technical specifications of say a battleship, neural remapping for clone infantry is entirely possible.

Spectral Clone wrote:I replied 'for respecs', but what this really means is: As soon as CCP change a number in the skill tree, or an equipment related to that skill, the SP should immidiately be refunded, independent of why the skill or related equipment was changed.
Also a full (optional) respec is required when all racial content drops, e.g. when racial dropsuits are released (or the skill tree to be revamped to be independent of race, just like the new vehicle skill tree looks like it will be implemented)
This. I don't mind not having respecs in the future for expansion content...but for core content we need them.

Then just take your money from your corp (or alt) again. My mistake i meant to say sp. well i mentioned being able to buy an item that takes a percentage of SP, it wouldnt really need to be period locked as it would be self enforcing. if the percentage was, say 10%, i doubt people would intentionally use it twice in rapid succession unless they didnt have much sp to begin with. 10% is more than enough. Many newer player I think will benefit from this more because the penalties will be less costly for the use of these respecs.
Anymore than that and you are severely handicapping yourself and consigning yourself to another brutal grind.

Mmmm but at the same time we cannot treat this game like an extension of EVE, even though you and I know that it is.
The communities are too vastly different and their genre's too.
We consolers have too small minds, too short attention spans, and the only thing that really makes us kin to EVE player is we love to shout "Hey look at me as I burn all you love to the ground."
