That's obvious. He used the advanced because everyone would think of your exact logic, and then realize triage and allotek actually cost more pg, enhancing his point. lol trying to do any strafing at all on a compact.

Untrue. If it was I'd beat kalente a lot more cause my nades truly would be OP and not just op.

I specced out of Callogi with the respec because I knew it was OP. Gallente sucked balls forever because you had max 330 shields and you couldn't get more than 225 armor (the base) without sacrificing a ludicrous amount of move speed (and inherently strafe speed).
Then they released ferroscale and reactive and the reactive sucked (and everyone proved they were worthless because a repper fitting beat them overall everytime) but the ferroscale mitigated the armor plates movement penalty. So slap 2-3 ferroscale on and a regular plate on the other low(s) and you could move relatively well again
Then they reduced the movement penalties for regular plates and increased the values on the other plates and suddenly I see all these threads.
Personally I think the gallente logi is a little op.
I'm not sure how I'd nerf it, but I do think nerfing the rep rate to all logi's and forcing them to put a repper on a low just like most other suits would help. Furthermore I do support logi's being required to fill all low slots (even if they just end up putting on 4 compacts or 4 injectors).

wouldn't do much of anything. Would you like to see fitting differences before and after I use a basic cpu upgrade and then still fit the same tank, damage mods, weapons, and equips?

Would be a start, if having a cpu chip becomes a necessity to run any useful equipment ( possibly paired with the changing of the equipment bonus to something armor related ) then you only slightly nerf the suit without making it useless. The gal logi is far superior to gal assault. A cpu chip necessity would slow the suit down and reduce total hit points. Try making a fit with say 100 less cpu and 15 less pg ( if your equipment bonus was changed ). Im sure you can figure out the exact math, but that would be similar to the cal logi nerf. Next qqing would be the new fotm min logi needing a nerf, likely just cpu. Then suits would be more balanced and ccp can focus on weapon balance or new suits. |

Only thing that is wrong comes gall logis. They're overkill due to having so many slots and a native repair rate on the armor. Pretty much similar to the cal logi issue. Except gall logi had to wait ferroscale and reactive plates to actually become more powefull than their assault equivalent.
and obviously i respecd out of gall logis toward assault winmater before that happends

Remove the native rep rate and add ccp's previously mentioned new bonuses that will increase stuff like nanohive range or rep rate and then the 25% reduction and native rep rate that combined make the gallente logi better than it's assault counterpart will be gone.
Gallente assaults are super UP because there's not a fit in hell you can get with the gallente assault that'll give you over 750+ ehp that the gallente logi can't make and then put proto equips on top of it.
