You are now just lumping things together to suit your case. This thread was about someone blatantly modifying a piece of hardware to give them an unfair advantage over others playing the game. What you are describing is an exploit that anybody could have taken advantage of without any purchase of modification to their system. Does it make it right? No, CCP should have patched it right away but they didnt so blame them.

All a modded controller can do is run macros that would be something that a button can already do. There is no button or combination of buttons that can do what you are saying

Im on this game for a simple reason, to have fun. I have zero control over what others do when they play. I dont cheat and dont run proto so Im quite fine with myself and my relationship with this game. I was attacked because I am part of AE which had nothing to do with my comments on here. im simply just responding back to that based on my own observations.

Certainly CCP shoulders some of the blame but they aren't forcing anyone to exploit any glitches. The people that exploit these glitches do so under their own free will and thus the bulk of the blame rests on them for they are the ones that chose to use an exploit when they could have just as easily chosen not to.

first of all you are free to try to build a modded controller by yourself. you can order low amount of microchip samples for free at certain companies but I would wonder if there is more than one person beside me that actually has the the knowledge to write programms on microchips and also the knowledge to properly solder it on the PS3 controller at the right place.

for everyone else that does not know how to do it this means around 100 bucks to get such controller at amazon. 100 bucks controller that is still beaten by an average player using regular AR. go ahead, waste your money

second, I find it funny what people believe modded controllers can do. modded controllers just have a microchip on it with a programm that plays "macros" simulating player input. the only thing the modded controller has over regular human input is easy fast rapid fire with single shot weapons, everything else can be done with regular fingers.

My Iphone controls my whole house, lights radio, TV, security cameras, ect. It will even lock/unlock my homes electronic doors and start my car.
