What exactly did a 'modded' controller do for you other than possibly the ROF on a semi-auto weapon?

All a modded controller can do is run macros that would be something that a button can already do. There is no button or combination of buttons that can do what you are saying. You are talking about hacks which are near impossible in Dust as it is server side.

My Iphone controls my whole house, lights radio, TV, security cameras, ect. It will even lock/unlock my homes electronic doors and start my car. Yet, a modded controller cant interact with a POS game? LMAO Not only can you mod the controller, but the ps3 system as well.

Or anyone who has half a brain to figure out what a controller can or cannot do.
I joined AE about a week ago because many of my old corp mates (PHI) are there now. I have yet to see or hear of anyone using a modded controller.
But then again, it is forum policy to assume that anyone in a high tier corp is a 'cheater' right? It has nothing to do with actual skill.

You are now just lumping things together to suit your case. This thread was about someone blatantly modifying a piece of hardware to give them an unfair advantage over others playing the game. What you are describing is an exploit that anybody could have taken advantage of without any purchase of modification to their system. Does it make it right? No, CCP should have patched it right away but they didnt so blame them.

Cant say Ive ever played with Kalante except for random pairing in pub matches.
Im on this game for a simple reason, to have fun. I have zero control over what others do when they play. I dont cheat and dont run proto so Im quite fine with myself and my relationship with this game. I was attacked because I am part of AE which had nothing to do with my comments on here. im simply just responding back to that based on my own observations.

Certainly CCP shoulders some of the blame but they aren't forcing anyone to exploit any glitches. The people that exploit these glitches do so under their own free will and thus the bulk of the blame rests on them for they are the ones that chose to use an exploit when they could have just as easily chosen not to. What I said may seem irrelevant to the thread but it merely stemmed from what you said. I understand what you are saying and Im not defending anyone to glitches but I just think that the mentality is there for much of Dust's population. Just look at all the FOTM chasers out there. Its just the nature of FPS games and the reason I dont like P2P games due to the amount of hacking that goes on.

Yeah, the guys are the reason I joined up. I just got tired of running solo most of my play time. We will see what happens in the future. I will definitely be on Destiny when the Beta hits.
