I made that guy invincible...that has to be worth something right? Any weapon out there, save perhaps the mass driver, does more dps than you are capable of healing through. If someone got the jump on him before he began strafing to mitigate additional damage he would die very quickly. If someone had bothered to cook a single grenade that detonated above him, thus triggering the head section of his hurtbox and giving 200% damage, he would likely have been OHK'd. Or if two competent opponents simply shot at him at the same time, he would also drop. He played things smart, and there is indeed a use for what you are doing, but he was by no means invincible. Do not overplay it.

You have a point about me not exactly doing a lot to get this, but there was still a lot going on in that match. I didn't record squad comms but if you were to hear them it was a constant communication check between both of us about what our status was, where the enemies were, what we were doing, if he needed reps/ammo, etc. The hardest job for me was making sure everyone had ammo and was at full armor. You don't even know how difficult it is to see allied health bars, especially when using the repair tool. The short range on the thing makes things even more difficult because I have to stay within 11 meters of him in order for the lock to stay on. Trying to lock onto him when he's in combat is almost as hard as trying to kill a scout that's jumping in your face. That in itself was hard enough to do, and much more difficult than just shooting at other people with an automatic sniper rifle (aka the AR). Besides, the repair tool has already had a buff way back in chromosome where they increased the reward for triage bonuses and gave us guardian bonuses as well. Now that they removed the cap, they should probably debuff the repair tool and bring the triage bonuses back to 15. I can absolutely agree that 7000 wp for using a repair tool is kind of ridiculous. Finally, I played 5 rounds with these guys. The average wp gain using this method was about 3500-4000. This match was a rare occurence and brings diversity into the game. I used tactics and strategy to play instead of running the best equipment and shooting people. Not to mention that maybe this is what the game needs in order for change to happen. Currently the number of players using ARs is rising, and everyone just seems to be using the same loadout/suits/weapons. By having something like this possible, it makes the other less popular items and playstyles actually viable...and therefore more players will use it. I took a loot of bullets and was spammed with nades - accepted defeat - with no GG in return but accusations and suspicions - let's all rethink it and allow for it to change for better in our community in future. o7 >

Don't have video, but still have a screenshot (where I got my previous record of 4382 before the 1.6 buff) The idea is that instead of me running behind him with an AR of my own, I ran scrambler and played full-on support role to show what the logistics class is capable of (i.e. not just stacking damage mods with a duvolle playing assault like every other fake logi out there). Not saying that logi is supposed to be support, but that Logistics is about versatility. Sure, lots of ehp and a good weapon is one effective way to fit a logi, but it makes me sad when that's the only fitting I see people run. Links: List of Important Topics I make logistics videos!

They managed to hold it while being flanked, surrounded and spammed with nades. Question to CCP will you evaluate this vid to improve the game mechanics? Because there you can see following... - glitches in changing weapons (weapon mix); - logistic issues - rep tool range and lock during combat situations; - not displayed Team health bars; - sometimes its impossible to counter snipers coz they are hidding behind a texture - you hit them with no effect - that's wrong; - will at least Squad Leader have an counter for total OB strikes that he has on Squad disposall? - I believe that hey havent used all OBs that they managed to award for themselves'

What you did was bi-pass the overheat mechanics design for laser weaponry by crouching and then sprinting forward the only downside to it is you can't reload your weapon till 2-3 seconds later. They put a cap on wp for the repair tool just like they put a cap on your earning potential that all of you proto stompers were complaining about. Us logistics have had to deal with this cap ever since Chromosome to prevent "boosting", and many of us have suggested ways to make the cap better or improve it. Like I've said in a previous post, if they are going to remove the cap the wp gain should be lowered to 15 wp per triage bonus. But don't even try to complain about this. You don't see us logistics complaining about how you killers can just rack up as many points from kills as you want without restriction. There were a few "boosting" instances where eventually CCP had to add a cap to the game, and all of you killers went around the forums yelling at CCP for earning reduced warpoints. You guys had to deal with it for maybe a month at most. We've been dealing with our cap for 6 months to a year. Just let us stretch our logi muscles again and prove that there are more viable ways of playing than using a nokickautomaticsniper with a stacked suit. Yes it works, and one other thing I noticed in the video I was scared was the case. After you cancel the animation, you can unload the rest of the mag without it overheating.
