Instead, it has a sort of beam-splitter at the end of it, a small device that looks somewhat like a shotgun choke. The optical sights are removed on this weapon, and iron-sights are the means of target acquisition.

The weapon described above is not a shotgun, but a rifle that shoots multiple rounds at once. It is a hybrid of shotgun and rifle. The 'Spoke Maw' looks great, BTW.
