Ever since 1.6 came out on Tuesday, my PS3 has been hard locking while playing Dust 514 about once every hour or so. The visuals lock (not like the old "more info" lock where deploying would fix it) but I can still hear voice chat and ambient sounds. The PS button also stops working when this happens. I've never had it lock during a game, but it seems to happen at random times in my merc quarters or on the warbarge. I've already tried deleting the game and reinstalling it, but that didn't seem to fix it. I'm playing on a super slim PS3 with a 7200rpm 320GB hard drive that I installed after I bought it.

Same problem. Also playing on brand new super slim PS3. |

After having this happen a few more times, I think this lock has something to do with looking around with the right analog stick while in quarters or in the warbarge. If I avoid looking around in these areas, I seem to be able to avoid the freeze/lock.

Had this happen earlier during the first match after I turned my ps3 on - mid-battle in an LAV. |

Has happened to me multiple times. This, and all the other rage-quit moments from just playing the game, makes me want to just drop it. "Triple SP Week" should ring a better tone in my ear but considering that my PS3 is hard-frozen as I'm typing this, I can't help but wonder how much longer -I- will be playing this game before I just give up.
