Useless compared to gallente
Gallente has better :
Scan
Speed
HP
Base HP
Dampening abilities
Stealth
Endurance
CPU pg
Suit bonuses
Hacking abilities
Scan range abilities
Shield regulation abilities
The only useful high slot abilities worthy for minmatar is shields an damage, an if u use damage you can barely fit anything else unless using CPU chips, the bonuses suck since hit detection blows, I want a respec lol
Friggen waste.
If the game was where it is now at uprising I never would have chose minmatar, hell I was gallente an got the optional respec before June , month later punch myself for changing my mind
For the prototype Scout suits:
Minmatar has better speed both running and sprinting. The speeds are 5.65/7.91 versus 5.45/7.63.
Gallente has equal PG and 20 more CPU.
Minmatar has better shield 100 versus 70.
Gallente has better armor 130 versus 70.
Both suits have a 5% reduction to scan profile per level.
Gallente has a +10% bonus to scan radius per level.
Minmatar has +5% to melee and nova knife damage per level.
Gallente has 1 high slot and 4 low slots.
Minmatar has 3 high slots and 2 low slots.
Both suits have 1 equipment slot.
Both suits have the same recharge rates and recharge delays.
Some might say that the Minmatar suit is more customizable due to it's number of high and low slots.
I wouldn't say that the Minmatar suit is useless. If you go with it's strengths, you can use nova knives and damage mods to do some pretty good close-up killing. But is has to be stealth killing. You can get around faster with the Minmatar suit so you can pop up and be gone in a flash. Great for slicing solo snipers and solo forge gun snipers. Good for protecting objectives from solo hackers. Great for picking off stragglers. Pretty good for running in, hacking and bugging out.
As a sniper I HATE the Minmatar nova knife scout. When I'm scoped in they cut me to ribbons before I can react.
BUT - I think they need a buff to scans, speed or shields/armor. Or all three.
